From Dothan Regional Airport:• Turn onto Flight Line Drive toward Central

Street• Take right onto Napier Field Road/CR-112,

which becomes AL-134• Make slight left onto ramp• Merge onto US-231 N/AL-53 N• Turn left onto AL-249 to Fort Rucker

From Montgomery:• Merge onto I-85 N• Take Exit 6 (US-231 S/US-80 W/AL-21 S)

Welcome to the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory

Situated in southest Alabama and located at Fort Rucker, USAARL is approximately 25 miles from Dothan, 90 miles from Montgomery, and 95 miles from Panama City Beach, Fla.

USAARL’s mission is to conduct research to deliver solutions that save lives and increase performance of Army aviators, the airborne Soldier, and ground warriors.

Fort Rucker Gate Locations and Requirements Main gates: Enterprise, Daleville, and Ozark. Visitors must show to the gate guard their Department of Defense-issued ID. Visitors who do not have a DoD-issued ID are subject to a background check to receive a visitor pass. For more information about obtaining a visitor pass, visit www.rucker.army.mil/visit/.

USAARL Security Requirements

Upon entering the USAARL facility, visitors must provide Government-issued ID to obtain an “Escort Required” visitor badge.

The installation of non-Government-owned devices and the activation of Wi-Fi hotspots in or around the USAARL facility are strictly prohibited. Foreign nationals and dual citizens should allow 45 days for approval of foreign visit requests.
