Pike Place Market has claimed to be the oldest operating public farm market in the entire country. Whether that's true or not, it is definitely one of the liveliest places, and certainly the liveliest in downtown Seattle. The market contains everything from flower stalls and a variety of unique shops.

CaliforniaThere are a thousand things to do in California. These include:

Visiting Disneyland, Universal Studios in Hollywood, surfing, whale watching, going to the Golden gate bridge, Chinatown, the Wax museum, as well as countless other museums.

UtahYears ago, the pioneers crossed America to discover the west. Some wanted a new future,some hoped to find gold. Salt Lake City, the Capital of Utah, was the destination of many Pioneers.

Utah also has many mountainsand is home to winter sports all year.

OregonHistorically, people traveling into the West traveled using ¨The Oregon Trail.¨ Hundreds of people and animals walked over the mountains and made paths that you can still hike and bike today.

Oregon´s beaches are beautifuland haunting shipwrecks and to lighthouses to explore.

People normally travel to Alaska to hunt or to see the Rugged Natural beauty. Above all, the most famous of these, are the northern lights.

AlaskaOne of the most interesting things about Alaska is that days and nights are longer depending on the time of year. For example, in the summer,day can be 23 hours long. In the Winter there is only light for an hour. This is because of the Arctic Circle.

For a bit of history, go to Oahu, where the famousUnited States Naval base, Pearl Harbor, was attacked by Japanese Bombs. The overall death count reached 2,402.

ArizonaArizona is desert country, but aside from the famous city of Phoenix, Arizona is also home to one of the natural wonders of the world- the Grand canyon. Texas is known for it´s cattle, for it´s heat, it´s food sizes that are twice as big as normal and it´s hard working, American spirit.

Texas is also the state that former President George Bush lives in.
