User Manual
D4114 For correct usage, read these instructions carefully and retain for future reference
Introduction The USB TV and Radio Player supports more than 20,000 radio stations and 5,000 internet TV channels from around the world. Plug-and-play, watch TV and radio via the internet at any time.
System Requirements OS Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 Processor Intel Pentium III or better Memory 256MB or better Bandwidth ADSL 2M or better Browser IE6.0 or newer Windows Media Player 9 or newer DirectX 9.0c or newer Supported languages: Chinese simplified, Chinese traditional, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
Usage Plug USB TV and Radio Player into your USB port. After a short period the opening screen will appear:
If a box appears asking: “This disc or device contains more than one type of content. What do you want Windows to do?”, select “FIR using the program provided on the device”.
If a security warning appears, click ‘Accept’ to continue through to the
opening screen
If you are using Windows 7 and a box appears called ‘AutoPlay’, scroll down to and double click on ‘Open Folder to view files using Windows Explorer’
A folder will appear, double click on FIR.exe to open the program.
If the player fails to load, click ‘Start’, ‘My Computer’ and double click on the removable hard drive icon. Double click on “FIR” or “FIR.exe” to start the player.
Areas of the main screen are detailed as follows: Play Status
1. Radio / TV status: Connected – Connecting – Playing – Connect fail 2. Current playing station 3. Minimize (-) / Close (X) 4. Copyright notices 5. Headphones symbol for radio mode / TV symbol for TV mode
Tab Panel
1. Featured (default): Recommended stations 2. History: Listened station list, ordered by last used 3. Favorite: Favourite station list 4. Popular-Genre: The top 20 of various genres 5. Popular-Region: The top 20 of various regions 6. All-Genre: Various genres 7. All-Region: Region / country stations 8. Setting: Options to change the user interface 9. Contact Us: Report any problems or make comments / suggestions 10. Search: Search for Radio / TV stations
Main Panel
1. Current path 2. Play / stop individual stations
3. Heath status: Yellow lightning shows a station can be played. Grey lightning indicates a station is currently unavailable. Clicking the ‘house’ button opens your browser and takes you to the station home page.
4. Click the grey star to add a station to your favourites. A yellow star indicates that the station is already in your favourites. Click a yellow star again to remove it from your favourites.
5. Click to go back a level in the path 6. Genre
Control Panel
1. Play / Stop 2. Record: Click to begin recording when a station is playing. To stop recording,
click again. When recording stops a box appears allowing you to select where to save the recording. Select your save location and click ‘OK’
3. Volume slider: drag slider to the right to increase volume, drag to the left to decrease volume.
4. Mute / Un-mute toggle Other pages: Favourite
1. click x to remove the station from your favourites list 2. Auto Play: A headphone symbol indicates this mode is active. A crossed out
headphone symbol indicates this mode is deactivated. Stations that have Auto Play activated will play randomly.
Region
1. World map: select your region here 2. Select country to get station list
Genre
Select a genre to get a TV / Radio list.
Search
1. Type in key words, then click ‘Search’ 2. Select Genre 3. Select region
Setting
1. Language selection: Choose language and click ‘apply’ 2. Clear History Records: click to clear

1. If you wish to add stations, click the link and fill in the form. We will check and if possible add your suggestion.
2. If you have and questions / suggestions, click the link and fill out the form. We will try to respond as soon as possible.
