Awards

Each year, the USCAA awards more than 150 players of the week, 75 All-Tournament awards, 375 All-Americans (1st Team, 2nd Team, and Honorable Mention), and 700 scholar-athletes. We strive to provide first-class events, quality awards, and memories that will last a lifetime for student-athletes across the country.

On average, 70% of member institutions compete in one or more national championship each year. As the USCAA has grown in numbers, we have expanded tournaments and made significant developments in the quality of our events. Each USCAA championship is planned to ensure that all participants have a first-class experience. We strive to make our championships more than games, but also an experience to remember.

Dual Affiliation

The largest national organizations each have more than 300 institutions competing, leaving opportunities limited for those institutions withfewer resources to recruit and retain student-athletes.

Dual affiliation provides your athletic department with a long-term opportunity for consistent student-athlete recognition and post season competition. The USCAA welcomes dual members from other collegiate national governing bodies including:• NAIA• NCAA Division III• NCCAA

Compliance

ComplianceAs we grow, legitimacy as a reputable national governing body is at the forefront of our operations. The USCAA institutes eligibility and compliance rules and procedures that are similar to the NCAA and NAIA and do so without burdening athletic administrators with hundreds of pages of manuals. Additionally, dual affiliates may submit eligibility forms from their current governing body.

Professional Development

Each June, the USCAA hosts its annual National Convention. The Convention is both a time for growth and development of the USCAA and its member administrators and coaches.

2013 USCAA National ConventionProfessional Development Session

The Convention features town hall and business sessions to hear ideas for advancing our championships and internal operations. It is also comprised of several professional development sessions and social events, each of which provide members with the opportunity for personal enhancement and professional networking.

VisionAs we continue to grow we envision a strong organization of member institutions across the nation with two divisions for the majority of our sport offerings. Controlled growth is vital to our vision. We seek to have an organization that benefits all member institutions.

By joining the USCAA, greater opportunities exist for your student-athletes to become All-Americans, scholar athletes, and win national championships.
