Attention: Copy of vehicle registration requestAt your earliest convenience, all residents who have a DC
sticker on their vehicle must provide a copy of their registration.A copy can be made in the Devon office during regularbusinesshours. You can place your copy in the Devon drop box or youcan scan your registration and send it by email [email protected].
Many thanks to all the residents who have already providedthis information.
Use caution entering/exiting parking lotPlease use extreme caution when entering and exiting the
parking garage. One of our residents was struckby a car exitingthe parking garage. Additionally, we have had many peoplenearly struck, along with near collisions.
Also, make sure that you are parked evenlv between theyellow lines (or blue lines ifparked in the handicapped spaces).Ifyou exit your vehicle and find that you are not parkedproperly, please be considerate of others; get back in your car,and make necessary adjustments. We are monitoring this issueclosely and ifnot parked properly, you may receive a call tomove your vehicle.
This is in an effort to maximize parking and avoid damage tovehicles. A special thank you to council member CharlesJohnson who is monitoring all Devon parking lots at least threetimes per day.
Please try and avoid parking on Clinton Street. Ifyou mustpark on that street, do not block walkways or driveways.
Neighbor at risk? Wellness Check provides assistanceIf you are concerned about the well-being of a neighbor, you
must call 911 for a "wellness check." Devon staff is not
permitted to enter a unit to check on a resident.
Committee update on
parking expansion
The Parking Committee is notgoing to pursue any ftirtheraction related to limited parkingin the Devon lots because the
cost of expansion would beprohibitive.
A plan from 23 years ago wasfound which described different
ways to add 22-24 spaces. Theseplans included possibly usingsome of the landscaped propertyin back of the Devon or buildinga two-tier garage on the 14^sideof the building.
As of 23 years ago, theestimated cost of this project was$600,000. The cost today wouldbe considerably higher.
Lost and Found
During the strong winds, thisdecorative lizard was found in
the rose bushes in front of the
building. If it belongs to you, itcan be picked up in the Devonoffice.
