• Ongoing investigation since 1983• Current project team includes Honeywell, Jacobs, LimnoTech, • Use of ArcGIS Online tools began in 2015 as a way to improve internal project communication and sharing of information

• ESRI cloud‐based mapping and GIS tools• Easy to share maps and data with anyone• Accessible via computer, tablet, or smartphone• Includes range of tools and programs, including Story Maps
What is a Story Map?
• Mix of text‐based narrative and map‐based information and graphics
• Similar to a web site• Sidesteps the linear sequence of a presentation or report
• Does not require an ESRI license to view the Story Map – accessible to all.

Development and Evolution of the UOP RI Addendum Story Map• Began as a way to communicate modeling results and findings with team members
• Evolved to include other information • Ultimately became a companion deliverable to the UOP RI Addendum Report, submitted to EPA– Provided an alternate way to communicate the static information contained in the 1,000+ page RI report

• Story Maps are a great communication tool for both internal and external needs
• Useful addition to the standard PDF report• Access can be open or restricted depending on needs• Developer needs ESRI license, but not the user• Budget ~$10K for simple story map
