II. Portal
Login1. Go to login.3data.io and enter your username and password credentials.
2. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions by checking the box.3. Once terms and privacy policy are accepted, the Log In button will be ready to click.
My PresentationsOnce logged in, you will see your 3Data Presentations folder. Any presentations you create will ap-pear and be accessed here. Search by name, and sort by name or date.

Create New Presentation1. Select the green CREATE NEW button in the top right of My Presentations2. Name the new presentation3. Click Save
Presentation Options
• Edit: Edit any of the fields entered when creating a new presentation above.• Duplicate: Make a copy of the presentation• Download: Download the presentation XML file for editing• Share: Share the presentation. Go to page 19 for more info.• Delete: Delete the presentation.

Shared PresentationsThis folder is for presentations shared with you. Any presentations you have access to view and/or edit will appear here. Although, you may not edit the presentation name and access level, or delete/duplicate the presentations in the Shared Presentation folder, you can download the 3Data file.
Open a 3Data Presentation1. Select OPEN
AssetsClick ‘Assets’ in the menu on the left side of the portal. This folder is where all of your assets are stored. Assets can be almost anything; datasets, pictures, images, videos, 3D models and more. Search by file name or type, sort by file name, size, or date modified. See the table below for a full list of supported assets and asset types.

Upload Assets
Option One - Portal UploadClick the green UPLOAD ASSET button in the top right of Assets and select the desired file from your computers file folder.

Uploading Notes: Recognizes text, numbers, dates/times, and formatted numbers/currencyAccepted date/time formats include standard (ISO 8601) and several common formats including Excel default. Accepted formatted number and currency formats are U.S. style only
Asset Options
• Open File: Depending on the file type, this option will either show the asset in another browser window or download the file to your device.
• Manage Access: This option shows all of the presentations that the asset is a part of.
1. Click the ADD ACCESS button to add a presentation to the list for this asset.
2. Select a presentation from the dropdown, then click GRANT ACCESS.
• Delete: This will delete the asset from the Asset List and all of the presentations that have access to it.

III. Presentations
Presentation DashboardAfter selecting OPEN from your portal, you enter the 2D Dashboard.
Utilities TabThe Utilities Tab includes:
• Mute Button• Enable Controls. This allows you to: - Use your arrow keys to move around the room. - Use your mouse to click on Presentation UI from your desktop and click to turn your view. - Become an avatar in the scene.
Guests TabThe Viewers Tab shows you everyone that is in the room.

Chat TabThe Chat Tab shows your notifications and messages.
Note: You will get a system message indicating if there were any issues with the file or if it was loaded to ensure that the file loaded correctly.
Files TabThe Files Tab shows the files that are shared only ‘WITH OTHERS’.
LegendIf a graph is on the current slide, the legend and selection details appear in the right

panel.Enter Immersive Mode ButtonThe Enter VR button is located in the lower right corner of the 2D Dashboard. Moreinformation about this button is detailed in the Immersive Mode section.
If you do not have a headset connected, you will get the following message instead:
Loading Data & Assets
Before entering immersive mode, select the data file from your local file folder and drag it over the browser window (Cont. Option Two - Drag and Drop from My Assets section).
You have two drag and drop options when loading your data to the presentation, Only You and With Others.
Only You: To keep the data in your presentation private to your local PC, drop the file over the left side of the

browser window. This option does not add the file to your 3Data Assets folder.Note: Each user collaborating on a presentation will need to load the same file via the Private/Local option.
With Others:
To allow others to see your presentation, drop the file over the right side of the browser window.
IV. Immersive Mode
Entering Immersive Mode
When prompted, Allow Access to your Microphone. This is required for networked and collaborative sessions.
VR Controls
Use the trigger on the back of the controller to select buttons and objects on panelsvia the Laser Pointer.

V. Creating a PresentationOnce you click on the VR button and enter Immersive Mode, you are ready to start adding to your presentation.
SlidesThe slide navigation is the main UI in which you move back and forth through the presentation with the arrow buttons. In between the arrows is the slide counter, which doubles as a floating action button. Hover over the slide counter to reveal the slide options. Since the presentation starts on slide 1, you can either click Edit to add a plot or asset to the first slide or click New to add a sec-ond slide and leave the first blank.
Edit SlideIn a brand new presentation, Edit will add a plot or asset to the first slide. If there is a plot already in the slide, Edit will open the Mappings panel. Go to the next page for more info on the Mappings panel.
Delete SlideAfter clicking on Delete, a confirmation pop up will appear. Click Yes to delete the slide.
Save SlideAfter clicking on Save, a confirmation pop up will appear. Click Yes to save the slide.
*Important: If you navigate to another slide before saving, your changes will not be saved.

New SlideClicking New will then prompt you to choose between adding a new plot and adding an asset (i.e. image, video, PDF, 3D Model)
Plot
DatasetAfter choosing to add a new plot, a list of datasets available to that presentation will pop up. Use the arrows at the bottom of the panel to scroll. Once a dataset is selected, a confirmation pop up will appear.
Plot TypesChoose a plot type to visualize the selected dataset. Be aware that some plot types will only work with certain file types.
MappingsAfter the dataset and plot type is selected, the Mappings panel will appear next to the plot, where you will begin to map out the variables. Click on a mapping and all of the avaiable variables will pop out in front of the plot. Choose a variable, and it will dynamically appear in the plot. To go back to the slides navigation, click on the red ‘X’ in the corner. Go to the next page to see the available mappings for each plot type.

AssetAfter choosing assets from the Plot Types panel, a list of assets available to that presentation will pop up. Use the arrows at the bottom of the panel to scroll. Once an asset is selected, a confirmation pop up will appear. That asset will then be loaded into the slide where you can scale, rotate, and position.

VI. Navigating your Plots
Inspecting Data
1. Hover over data with your laser pointer to view Information Details about the data point.
2. Select the data point to lock the Information details panel to a specific data point. 3. To unlock the Inspector details panel, select anywhere on the Panel

VIII. SharingTo share a presentation, go to My Presentations in the portal and click Share under More Options next to the desired presentation. Copy the link by clicking on the URL or copy and close by clicking the

LegendThe Legend is located to the left of the plot.

Slide NavigationThe Slide Navigation displays the current slide in the bottom center of the Report View. Click on the arrows for next and previous slides.
Auto RotateThe Auto Rotate button is in the lower right corner. Presentations are automatically set to auto rotate, but will stop if you click the graph or Auto Rotate button.
Reset View ButtonThe Reset View button will bring you back to a full view of the front of the graph if you have panned or zoomed in to the slide.
Enter VR ButtonThe Enter VR button allows you to view the presentation in VR if you have acompatible device.
Note: Immersive mode in a Report View is limited to only the slide navigation user interface.
IX. Profile SettingsIn the left hand nav menu of the Portal, you can click on Edit Profile to edit your profile credentials.
