1. INSTALLATION OF MSIGNER

Open AICTESigner-Setup file folder.

Click on AICTESigner setup and install it by follo wing the steps.

Once the Installation is done, shortcut icon will be created on desktop.

Restart your system then AICTESigner services will start automatically if not then right click on the

AICTESigner icon (on desktop) and run as Administrator.

2. RUN DSC THROUGH DONGLE / IMPORT CERTIFICATE

If you have DSC Dongle then just connect DSC Dongle (Pen drive) to your system and login to your DSC

as shown in the below screenshot.

Now, login on AICTE’s Web Portal(follow steps mentioned on page no. 10)

OR

If you have soft copy/zip file of DSC then follow the below steps.

Go to setting of browser.

Search keyword as ‘Manage Certificate’

Click on Security and then Manage Certificates.

Click on Import, then next, browse the certificate and enter your password.

Next and finish.

Note: Above all steps regarding for Import certificate need not be performed when system is connected with

DSC device(dongle).

3. DSC REGISTRATION WITH AICTE USER CREDENTIALS

Login with AICTE User Credentials.

Click on DSC Utility.

Once clicked on DSC Utility icon, window will open with message Connection successful.

If, connection successful message is not shown then follow the below steps.

a. There should be global DNS set i.e. 8.8.8.8

b. There should not be any proxy setting in the browser, if its there, then need to contact proxy provider to

add exception for the URL.

c. Updated version of browser must be available.

d. System firewall need to be checked.

e. Uninstall the AICTESigner software and reinstall it.

Expand DSC Registration Contact Screen.

Click on + button and fill all the required details.

Click on Register.

Once clicked on Register, pop up window will be opened where user need to select the certificate and click on

sign.

Once clicked on Sign, below window will be shown.

Once the message displayed that registration is successful, it means User is ready to go for Approval process

application.

Now go to Home page and click on Approval process icon, Apply/View Application and fill all the details as

required.

Once the user has filled all the required data and reached to Attachment/Submit step, User need to authenticate

application with DSC.

Once you redirect to the page, you will get a popup message for “Connection Successful” which indicates, the

page is ready for DSC related operations.

Click on Submit Application and Proceed to payment button.

A pop up message will appear If the application in not authenticated, stating the same.

On click of ‘OK’ the authentication process will be initiated automatically and mSigner pop up will appear

with certificate details.

Select a certificate and click on ‘Sign’ button on pop up. The pop up will be disappeared and response message

from the API will be visible on Screen.

Once the authentication is successful, application is ready for submission.

UPLOADING OF DIGITALLY SIGNED DOCUMENT.

4. UPLOADING OF DIGITALLY SIGNED DOCUMENTS

Go to Homepage, click on DSC Utility.

Select Doc Sign view.

Once you redirect to the page, you will get a popup message for “Connection Successful” which indicates, the

page is ready for DSC related operations

Please read the instruction on the page before proceeding for document signing.

Profile the path of your PDF document in this format, in AICTE File Path textbox:

C:/AICTESigner/emAS_Lite_API.PDF and click on ‘SignDoc’ button.

On click of ‘DocSign’ button the mSigner popup window will appear with certificates, select one certificate

and click on ‘Sign’ button on pop up.

Once you click on sign button the pop up will be disappeared and a pop message with Signed documents,

name and path will appear

Go to the path and check your signed document.

Now Go to Home page and click on “Approval Process” Icon.

Click on “Apply/View Application” button on second landing page

Visit on 11th that is “Attachments and Submit” page of the application.

Expand Attachment section.

Click on + button and select Affidavit/e-Affidavit.

Here digitally signed Affidavit will be uploaded.

Note: For any activity if pop-up window is expected but has not displayed, then please click on mSigner icon

of taskbar, so that if any pop-up window went behind the screen then will come in front.
