PROCESS FLOW FOR ONLINE TAX PAYMENT SYSTEM

Type http://www.orissatransport.org

on the address bar of your internet explorer and click ‘ENTER’. The

following webpage will appear.

In order to pay Tax for Transport vehicles, click ‘Online Payment System’ (1st item on the Menu Bar) below ‘Home’. On clicking ‘Online Payment System’, the following screen will appear on a new window:

Register yourself by clicking ‘New User Click Here’. You will be prompted to create your Login ID & provide details such as Name, Address, Phone Number, e-mail ID, etc. On successful creation of the Login ID, the Password will be e-mailed to the e-mail ID provided by you.

Kindly retrieve your Login ID & Password from your e-mail and use the same in the User Login page and click ‘Log In’. You will be prompted to a new page for change of your Password.

Kindly change your Password for security reasons. The Password should be minimum of 6 and maximum of 15 characters. At least one character should be non alpha-numeric like ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + = / ?.

Once your Password is changed, click ‘Click here to RE-LOGIN’ and you will be directed again to the User Login page. Insert you Login ID and new Password and click ‘Log In’, the following screen will appear:

You can add your vehicle(s) in the ‘Add/Remove Vehicle’ (1st item in Menu Bar) or directly click ‘Pay Tax’ (2nd item in Menu Bar) for payment of Motor Vehicle Tax. In case of frequent Tax payers OR fleet owners, it is advisable to add your vehicles to create your own Vehicle List; and you do not have to type the registration number every time you login to pay your motor vehicle tax.

Click ‘Add/Remove Vehicle’ and enter your vehicle registration number. The details of your vehicle will appear. Click ‘Add Vehicle’ and your vehicle registration number will appear in the ‘My Vehicle List’. Similarly, you can add all the vehicles you wish to appear in ‘My Vehicle List’.

In order to remove a vehicle from ‘My Vehicle List’, select the vehicle registration number from ‘My Vehicle List’ and click ‘Remove’.

Select ‘Pay Tax’ (2nd item on the Menu Bar) and click on ‘Monthly / Quarterly Tax’. The following screen will appear:

If you have added your vehicle in ‘My Vehicle List’, then click the drop down box in ‘Select Registration Number’ and select the registration number of the vehicle for which you wish to pay tax.

If you have not added your vehicle in ‘My Vehicle List’, then enter the vehicle registration number in the box provided near ‘Enter Registration Number’ and click ‘Submit’.

The following screen will appear:

Click ‘Add to Cart’ for payment of the tax amount. You can click ‘Reset Values’ to change the ‘Date To’. Kindly note that the ‘Date To’ can ONLY be greater or equal to the current mentioned date.

After change of ‘Date To’, click ‘Calculate Tax’ to get the new Tax amount. Click ‘Add to Cart’ for payment of the tax amount. The following Tax Payment Details screen will appear:

To add more vehicles for tax payment, click ‘More Payment’ and repeat the process of selecting/entering vehicle registration number again as mentioned in page no.3.

Or click ‘View Payment Cart’ to check the vehicle details before making the payment. The following screen will appear:

Click ‘Proceed to Payment’ (4th on the Menu Bar) and the following screen will appear:

If more than one vehicle appears in the list, you can pay tax for all or select individual vehicles for which tax is to be paid by checking/unchecking the box (on the right hand side of ‘Tax Amount’ sub-Menu).

Check the required box and click ‘Confirm Payment’. The following screen will appear:

You will be again asked to confirm the Payment gateway in the following screen.

Click ‘Make Payment’ and you will be redirected to www.onlinesbi.com for making payment.

Insert your State Bank of India Net banking Customer ID in the ‘User Name’ field and State Bank of India Net banking Password in the ‘Password’ field. Click ‘Submit’ to proceed for payment.

The following screen with details of transactions will appear:

Check the payment details as produced by State Bank of India payment page and Click ‘Confirm’ to proceed for payment.

This is the confirmation page of State Bank of India that you payment has been received. You will be automatically redirected to State Transport Authority, Government of Orissa website www.orissatransport.org. The following screen will appear:

Now, as your payment has been confirmed, click ‘Please click here to print receipt of the payment’ for printing the electronic money receipt.
