Safety MeasuresRead these instructions carefullybefore using your new Nespressomachine for the first time. Keepthem in a place where you can findand refer to them later on.Improper use of the machinereleases Nespresso from anyliability.• In case of an emergency:immediately remove the plug fromthe power socket.• Children should never use theappliance without close adultsupervision.• This appliance can be used bychildren aged from 8 years andabove and persons with reducedphysical, sensory or mentalcapabilities or lack of experienceand knowledge if they have beengiven supervision or instructionconcerning use of the appliance ina safe way and understand thehazards involved.• Children shall not play with theappliance.• Cleaning and user maintenanceshall not be made by childrenwithout supervision.• Children should be supervised toensure that they not play with theappliance.• Check that the voltage quoted onthe rating plate is the same as yourmains voltage.• Use only the specific powersupply cord delivered with themachine and connect yourappliance only to an earthed powersocket.

• Switch OFF with the On/Offswitch at the back of the machinebefore disconnecting power cordfrom electrical outlet or frommachine. The use of incorrectconnections voids the warranty!• This machine is designed forindoor use only. Keep it in acontrolled environment (protectedfrom dust, moisture, directsunlight, pests, etc.). Conditions ofuse: between 5°C to 35°C.• The hot water tube and thestreams of hot water, steam, coffeeand hot milk are very hot. Avoiddirect contact with the skin. Dangerof scalding!• Be careful while removingdisposable nozzle and straw fromsteam outlet. Hot milk might drip.• Always fill the water tanks withpotable water.• Empty water tanks if machine willnot be used for an extended time(holidays etc.).• Replace water in water tanksbefore machine is put intooperation after a weekend or asimilar period of time.• Remove the plug from the mainssocket if you will not be using themachine for an extended time(holidays). Before cleaning andservicing, remove the plug from themains socket and let the machinecool down. Do not unplug bypulling the cable.• Do not use the machine if it is notoperating perfectly or if it showsany sign of damage. In case of anymalfunction or damage notify yournearest Nespresso authorized aftersales centre.

• All operations other than normaluse, cleaning, and servicing must beperformed by the Nespressoauthorized after sales centre.• Never immerse the machine, cable,or plug in water or any other liquid.• Keep the cable out of reach ofchildren.• Never leave the cable near or incontact with hot parts of the machine,a source of heat, or a sharp edge.• When the cable or plug is damaged,you may not use the machine. Inorder to avoid danger, have thedefective part repaired or replaced bythe Nespresso authorized after salescentre.• Never place the machine on a hotsurface, e.g. A heating plate. Neveruse it around an open flame.• Place the machine on a flat, stable,heat resistant surface away fromwater splashes.• For your own safety, you should useparts and accessories from Nespressothat are made for your machine.• Never use the machine without thedrip tray or the drip grid.• This machine is designed forNespresso® Pro capsules, availablethrough Nespresso and its authorizeddistributors.• All Nespresso machines must passstringent controls. Reliability testsunder practical conditions areperformed randomly on selectedunits. This can show traces of anyprevious use.• The manufacturer cannot be heldliable for any damage caused by notintended use or inappropriatehandling of the machine.

• Any damages related to the connectionof the machine directly to the watermains supply are not covered bywarranty if the connection is notperformed by a certifiedtechnician.• The «direct water connection» switchmust always be set to OFF when nodirect water mains supply is used.• If the machine is connected directly tothe direct water mains supply, alwaysturn the machine OFF and setthe «direct water connection» switch toOFF before removing one or both watertanks.• To avoid any risk of flooding, in casethe flow rate increases more than 0.5L/min, an automatic flow-stop systemshould be installed by a specialist (notprovided with the machine).• If no responsible person is present (e.g.at night, weekends, vacations, etc.), theconnection to the water mains supplymust be closed.Descaling:• 1. Preparation: please read carefullythe safety instructions on the descalingagent packaging and follow the descalinginstructions from the descaling manualor user manual.• 2. Descaling: do not use the machinefor any other purpose during thedescaling process.• 3. Rinse: rinse the water tanks andclean the machine to avoid any residualdescaling solution.• Disposal: Take the appliance to yourpublic waste disposal centre or to yourcustomer service.Evde Kullanım:This appliance is intended to be used inhousehold and similar applications suchas:
