In order toobtain many years of trouble free useplease follow the instructions, payingparticular attention to the care andmaintenance requirements. Minivatorrecommend that you do not undertake anymaintenance tasks other than the routinecare and cleaning explained in thishandbook.

Your Minivator stairlift is fitted with a keyswitch (Figure 2).The stairlift cannot be operated unless thekey is inserted and turned to the onposition.
The keyswitch is provided to enableyou to lock the stairlift to prevent itbeing used by others (for examplechildren).
However, it can be left in the on position ifdesired.
If you remove your key for safetyreasons, please ensure you put it in asafe place.
If the keyswitch is turned off the lift willcontinue to charge.
As well as a key switch your stairlift is fittedwith an on/off switch (Figure 3) on thebottom, side panel of the lift.
Ensure that this is left in the ‘ON’position. The fault diagnosis displaypanel will be illuminated to indicatethis.
If you intend to be away from home for along period, and decide to switch off themains supply, it is important that you alsoswitch off the lift from this on/off switch.
This will ensure that the lift batteries willremain charged while you are away.
Before useBefore using your stairlift, MOSTIMPORTANTLY please ensure the stairs areclear of other people, pets or any objectswhich may obstruct your stairlift. Thenensure that the arms, footplate and seatare folded down for use to ensure yoursafety (Figure 5).

Diagnostic displayThe stairlift is fitted with a diagnostic display(Figure 4) that displays a code to helpdiagnose faults. Refer to Appendix 1 foran explanation of the diagnostic codes. Ifyou should experience a problem withyour lift please examine the display andmake a note of any codes that aredisplayed. Please inform the customerservices operator of these codes whenreporting any fault.

The remote control (Figure 7) is used tocall the lift to either the top/bottom of thestairs or to operate a powered foldinghinge where fitted. This control may alsobe used by an attendant where the user isunable to operate the stairlift themselves.
The attendant should always remain offthe staircase until the stairlift is stationary.
Your Minivator Simplicity+ 950 seat,armrests and footrest can be folded toallow easier passage up and down stairswhen it is not in use (Figure 8).
SAFETY PRECAUTION!
ALWAYS RETURN THE STAIRLIFT TO ITSSTOWED POSITION. I.E. WITH ARMRESTS,SEAT AND FOOTREST FOLDED AND THECHAIR PARALLEL TO THE TRACK ASSHOWN IN FIGURE 8, SO THAT EXITS ARENOT OBSTRUCTED.
Manual footplate link (optional)
If your stairlift is fitted with a manualfootplate link the footplate willautomatically fold away when the frontseat squab is lifted. It will also lower thefootplate when the front seat squab islowered.
Power footplate link – seat squaboperated (optional)
If your stairlift is fitted with a powerfootplate link operated from the seatsquab it will automatically fold away thefootplate when the front seat squab islifted. It will also lower the footplate whenthe front seat squab is lowered.
Power footplate link – arm operated(optional)
If your stairlift is fitted with a powerfootplate link operated from the arm it willhave an additional switch under the arm(Figure 9). To lower the footplate, use therocker switch under the arm. To lift thefootplate move the rocker switch to itsalternate position.
NB If moving the footplate while seated onthe stairlift please ensure your feet do notobstruct the footplate whilst it is in motion.

Your Minivator stairlift is operated bysimply pressing and holding the operatingtoggle in the direction you wish to travel(Figure 6). The stairlift will automaticallystop when the toggle is released or thestairlift has reached the end of its travel.
PLEASE NOTE:In the interest of safety, initial activation ofthe stairlift is delayed by 1 second frompressing and holding the operating toggle,to avoid accidental operation. If the toggleis released while the lift is in motion, thelift will stop and a delay of 1 second willoccur before the toggle will re-start the lift.
When changing the direction of travel thedelay will be 3 seconds before the liftbegins to move.

A swivel seat is provided to enable you tomount/dismount the seat more easily atthe top of the stairs by swivelling you on tothe landing.
To operate the seat swivel, wait untilthe stairlift has stopped.
To swivel the seat hold either (there is oneboth sides of the seat) swivel lever downor pull it up. This will release the seat lockand allow you to move the seat round bypushing away from the footplate. Whenthe seat reaches 90 degrees it will lock inposition.
You should not attempt to leave the seatuntil it has firmly ‘clicked’ into its lockedposition.
To swivel in the opposite direction followthe same procedure, but push away fromthe landing.
Power operated swivel (optional)
If your stairlift is fitted with an optionalpower operated swivel there will be noswivel levers fitted. In order to swivel theseat hold the operating toggle in the updirection. When the stairlift reaches thetop of the stairs continue to hold theoperating toggle in the up direction.The stairlift will beep three times and thenthe seat will swivel. When the seatis fully swivelled to 90 degrees the seat willstop.
You should not attempt to leave the seatuntil it is fully rotated.
To swivel in the opposite direction followthe same procedure in reverse. Push theoperating lever in the down direction. Theseat will beep three times and then after ashort pause it will rotate to the drivingposition. Continue to hold the operatinglever in the down direction. The stairliftwill then again beep three times beforebeginning its descent.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
NEVERSwivel the seat without the lap beltfastened.
NEVERMount or dismount the swivel seat unless itis locked in position.
NEVERTry to operate the swivel seat whilst thestairlift is in motion. (As a safety precaution,should you try to use it whilst the lift is inmotion, it will cause the lift to stop).
NEVERAttempt to travel up or down the staircaseunless the seat is in the correct position (i.e.facing directly across the staircase).

In the unlikely event that the lift has atotal power failure or runs on to the finaltrack stops there is an emergency handwinding procedure. Please follow thesesteps:
1. Switch off the stairlift with the key.
2. Insert the emergency hand windingknob (Figure 11).
3. Turn the knob in the direction indicatedfor the required movement.
4. When the desired position is reachedremove the hand winder and switch thelift on.

Your stairlift is fitted with safety edgeson the bottom of the footrest and on thelift itself that will stop the stairlift shouldany article become trapped by the footrest(Figure 12).
To remove the article reverse the stairliftaway from the object then have the objectremoved from the staircase. Proceed onyour stairlift as normal.

xSafety and servicingxWe advise that your stairlift is serviced after the first 12 months and thereafter AT LEAST EVERY12 MONTHS.
This work must be carried out by a competent person, i.e. a Minivator approved dealer.
If in doubt, please contact the Minivator Service Department on 08700 118282.
If you own your stairlift and no longer require it your dealer or Minivator may be interested inpurchasing it.
Warnings and precautionsNEVERAllow more than one person to use the stairlift at any one time.
The maximum carrying capacity is 120kg (19 Stone / 265lb).
NEVERAllow children to play on or with the stairlift.
NEVERAllow water to come into contact with the components in the stairlift. If you have totransport liquids DO SO WITH CARE.
NEVERPlace objects in the track or leave objects on the stairs, where they could come into contactwith the lift in operation. Your stairlift is fitted with pressure sensitive side edges andundertray on the footplate, which will automatically stop the lift if it detects anyobstructions.
NEVERUse the stairlift without using the lap belt, or any other safety belts or harnesses fitted.
NEVERUse the stairlift in a standing position.
ALWAYSKeep your FEET ON THE FOOTPLATE whilst the stairlift is in motion, and try to avoid yourfeet hanging over the edges of the footplate.
NEVERSwivel the seat until the lift has come to a stop at the top or bottom of the staircase.
ALWAYSFold the chair when it is not in use to avoid obstructing exits.
WARNINGIf the overspeed governor is activated it should only be reset by a competent person, i.e. aMinivator approved dealer. Activation of the overspeed governor is indicated by the lift notbeing able to be driven down the stairs and the diagnostic display showing 0.
xRoutine care and maintenancexBattery careand charging
Your Minivator stairlift is battery poweredand will continue to work for a period oftime even if you have a power cut. Youshould normally be able to travel up anddown the stairs at least 10 times withoutneeding to charge the batteries.Particularly in the event of a power cut,however you should always ensure thatthere is sufficient light to allow safe travel,and especially at each end of the trackwhere you get on and off the lift.
Your stairlift track is fitted with chargingpoints, normally at the top and bottom ofthe staircase. Your stairlift should be left onone of these charging points when not inuse to ensure that the batteries arecharged. If the stairlift makes a beepingnoise and/or the display show a "2" whenit is left on a charging point and it is not inuse IT IS NOT CHARGING. Please check thatthe power supply for the stairlift isswitched on. If it is switched on and thebeeping continues please contact yourdealer or the Minivator Service Departmenton 08700 118282.
MaintenanceThere are no user serviceable parts fitted toyour stairlift. If any damage is visible oryour stairlift sounds or behaves unusuallycontact Minivator or your approved dealerimmediately. We advise that your stairlift isserviced after the first 12 months andthereafter AT LEAST EVERY 12 MONTHS.
Care and cleaningBefore cleaning any part of your Minivatorstairlift, please ensure you have removedthe key.
The Minivator stairlift is manufacturedfrom a variety of materials, all with easy“wipe clean” surfaces. The seat and body
covers can be wiped over with a damp,NOT WET, cloth and a small quantity ofwashing up liquid.
PLEASE DO NOT use abrasive cleaners,bleach or solvent based cleaners, as thesewill damage the seat.
To clean the track, first send the stairlift tothe top of the stairs. The track can becleaned with a damp cloth. When most ofthe track is clean, move the stairlift to thebottom of the stairs and finish cleaning thetrack making sure that none of thecleaning debris falls on to it.
To maintain your Minivator stairlift in goodmechanical order, it is recommended thatregular services are carried out by qualifiedservice engineers.
Disposal ofyour Stairlift
Your stairlift has been manufactured usinghigh quality materials and components,which can be recycled and reused.
The crossed-out wheeled binsymbol indicates that yourstairlift is covered by theEuropean Directive 2002/96/EC,which governs the disposal of
waste electrical and electronic equipment.
This means that your stairlift should not bedisposed of as household waste but shouldbe appropriately disposed offor recycling.
Recycling this product will help to protectthe environment by ensuring that allmaterials contained in the stairlift areappropriately handled.

Ihr Minivator Treppenlift ist mit einemSchlüsselschalter ausgestattet (Abb.2).
Der Treppenlift kann erst benutzt werden,wenn der Schlüssel eingesteckt und zurEinschaltposition gedreht wurde.
Der Schlüsselschalter dient dem Zweck,dass Sie Ihren Treppenlift gegenunbefugte Benutzung (z.B. durchKinder) absperren können.
Der eingesteckte Schlüssel kann auch aufder Einschaltposition stehen bleiben.
Wenn Sie Ihren Schlüssel ausSicherheitsgründen abziehen, legen Sieihn bitte an einen sicheren Ort.
Wenn der Schlüsselschalter ausgeschaltetist, lädt der Lift weiter.
Ihr Treppenlift ist mit einem Schlüsselschalterund mit einem Ein/Aus Schalter (Abb.3) aufder Unterseite des Liftes ausgestattet.
Versichern Sie sich, dass der Schalter auf„EIN“ steht. Die Fehlerprüfanzeigeleuchtet auf, wenn dies angezeigt wird.
Wenn Sie für längere Zeit aus dem Hausgehen und die Hauptstromversorgungabschalten, ist es wichtig, dass Sie den Liftmit dem Hauptschalter ausschalten.
Auf diese Art bleiben die Liftbatteriengeladen.
Vor der InbetriebnahmeBevor Sie Ihren Treppenlift in Betriebnehmen, vergewissern Sie sich, dass dieTreppen frei von anderen Personen,Haustieren oder Objekten sind, die denTreppenlift behindern.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Armlehnen,die Fußstütze und der Sitz zur Benutzungaus Sicherheitsgründen heruntergeklapptsind. (Abb. 5).

Mit der Fernbedienung (Abb. 7) kann derLift an der Treppen von oben/unten geholtwerden oder eine vorhandeneautomatische Klappschiene gesteuertwerden. Mit der Fernbedienung kann aucheine Pflegeperson anstatt des Benutzersden Lift bedienen.
Die Pflegeperson sollte solange nicht aufder Treppe sein, bis der Lift zum Stillstandgekommen ist.
Ihr Sitz, Armlehnen und die FußstützeIhres Minivator Simplicity+ 950 sindklappbar um bei parkiertem Treppenliftweiterhin leicht die Treppe nutzen zukönnen (Abb. 8).

Manuelle Fußstütze Anschluß(wahlweise)
Wenn Ihr Treppenlift mit einer manuellenFußstütze ausgestattet ist, klappt dieFußstütze automatisch weg, wenn dieSitzrückenlehne angehoben wird. BeimAbsenken der Sitzrückenlehne wird auchdie Fußstütze ausgeklappt.
Fußstützenautomatik – an derSitzrückenlehne (wahlweise)
Wenn Ihr Treppenlift mit einerFußstützenautomatik an der Sitzlehneausgestattet ist, klappt die Fußstützeautomatisch weg, wenn dieSitzrückenlehne angehoben wird. BeimAbsenken der Sitzrückenlehne wird auchdie Fußstütze ausgeklappt.
Fußstützenautomatik – an derArmlehne (wahlweise)
Wenn Ihr Treppenlift mit einerFußstützenautomatik mit einem Schalteran der Armlehne ausgestattet ist (Abb. 9),wird die Fußstütze mit dem Betätigen desSchalter unter der Armlehne abgesenkt.
Zum Zusammenklappen der Fußstütze denSchalter in die andere Richtung legen.
NB Wenn die Fußstütze angehoben/gesenktwird während Sie auf dem Treppenliftsitzen, dürfen Ihre Füße der Platte nicht imWeg sein.
Fernsteuerung Treppenlift parkieren

Ihr Minivator Treppenlift fährt durch eineinfaches Drücken und Halten desSteuerhebels in die gewünschten Richtung(Abb. 6). Der Treppenlift stopptautomatisch wenn der Hebel während derFahrt losgelassen und braucht 1 SekundeVerzögerung bevor der Lift die Fahrtfortsetzt.
BITTE BEACHTEN:Aus Sicherheitsgründen verzögert derTreppenlift das Losfahren um 1 Sekundenachdem der Steuerhebel gedrückt undgehalten wird, um einen unbeabsichtigtenBetrieb zu vermeiden. Der Treppenliftstoppt automatisch wenn der Hebelwährend der Fahrt losgelassen und braucht1 Sekunde Verzögerung bevor der Lift dieFahrt fortsetzt.
Bei Richtungswechsel während der Fahrtbeträgt die Verzögerung des Liftes 3Sekunden.

Ein Drehsitz ermöglicht es Ihnen, leichteroben oder unten an der Treppeauszusteigen, indem Sie sich zumTreppenabsatz hin drehen können.
Den Drehsitz erst in Gang setzen, wennder Lift abgestoppt hat.
Zum Drehen des Sitzes entweder einen derbeiden Drehhebel (auf beiden Seitenangebracht) herunterdrücken oder -ziehen. Das löst die Sitzsperre und der Sitzkann von der Fußstütze weg gedrehtwerden. Wenn der Sitz 90° erreicht hat,rastet er wieder in die Position ein.
Der Sitz sollte erst verlassen werden, wennder Sitz fest „eingeklickt“ d.h. eingerastetist.
Um in die andere Richtung zu drehen, denVorgang wiederholen und vomTreppenabsatz wegdrehen.
Drehstuhl Automatik (Wahlweiss)
Wenn Ihr Treppenlift wahlweise mit einemAutomatikdrehstuhl ausgerüstet ist, hatdieser keine Hebel. Um den Sitz zu drehen,den Hebel aufwärts halten. Wenn derTreppenlift oben an der Treppeangekommen ist, den Hebel in dieserPosition lassen.
Der Treppenlift piepst dreimal und der Sitzdreht sich. Wenn der Sitz sich um 90°gedreht hat, stoppt er ab. Verlassen Sie denSitz erst, wenn er voll gedreht hat.
Um in die entgegengesetzte Richtung zudrehen, den Vorgang genausowiederholen. Den Hebel nach unten legen.Der Sitz piepst dreimal und dreht nacheiner kurzen Pause in die Fahrtrichtung .Halten Sie den Hebel weiter nach unten.Der Treppenlift piepst erneut dreimalbevor er herunterfährt.
!SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
NIEMALSDen Sitz ohne Sitzgurt drehen.
NIEMALSOhne Einrastung den Drehsitz verlassenoder benutzen.
NIEMALSDen Drehsitz betätigen, währen derTreppenlift in Bewegung ist.(Sicherheitshalber stoppt der Lift ab, sobaldSie versuchen den Drehmechanismusauszulösen).
NIEMALSNach unten oder hochfahren, solange derSitz nicht in der korrekten Position ist (d.h.in Richtung quer über der Treppe).
Betrieb Ihres Minivator Simplicity+ 950
Im unwahrscheinlichen Fall einesStromausfalls des Liftes oder einesFesthängens des Antriebs oben gibt eseine Nothandkurbel. Befolgen Sie dieSchritte:
1. Den Treppenlift mit dem Schlüsselabschalten.
2. Die Nothandkurbel einsetzen (Abb. 11).
3. Drehen Sie die Kurbel in der benötigtenRichtung.
4. Wenn die gewünschte Position erreichtist, die Nothandkurbel entfernen undden Lift anschalten.
Falls Sie Fragen dazu haben, setzen Sie sichmit dem örtlichen Minivator Händler unterder Telefonnummer 08700 118282 inVerbindung.
Ihr Treppenlift ist mit Sicherheitskanten ander Unterseite des Fußbrettes und am Liftselbst ausgestattet, die den Treppenliftanhalten wenn ein Gegenstand sich imFußbrett verfängt (Abb. 12).
Um den Gegenstand zu entfernen, denTreppenlift ein Stück rückwärts weg vomObjekt bewegen und es von der Treppenehmen lassen. Dann die Fahrt mit demLift fortsetzen.

xSicherheit und KundendienstxWir empfehlen einen Kundendienstcheck des Liftes nach den ersten 12 Monaten und danachMINDESTENS ALLE 12 MONATE.
Diese Arbeit sollte von einer dafür qualifizierten Person durchgeführt werden, d.h. einemanerkannten Minivator Händler.
Wenn Sie dazu Fragen haben, den Minivator-Kundendienst unter der Telefonnummer08700 118282 anrufen.
Wenn Sie den Treppenlift gekauft haben und ihn nicht mehr benötigen, setzen Sie sich mit IhremHändler oder Minivator in Verbindung. Evtl. kann der Lift weiterverkauft werden.
Hinweise und SicherheitNIEMehr als eine Person zu selben Zeit den Treppenlift benutzen lassen.
Die maximale Tragkraft beträgt 120kg.
NIEKindern erlauben mit oder auf dem Treppenlift zu spielen.
NIEDie Teile des Treppenlifts nicht mit Wasser in Berührung bringen. Flüssigkeiten VORSICHTIGdamit transportieren.
NIEGegenstände auf der Schiene oder auf der Treppe lassen, wo sie mit dem Lift in Berührungkommen können. Ihr Treppenlift ist mit druckempfindlichen Seitenkanten am Lift und ander Unterseite des Fußbrettes ausgerüstet, die den Lift automatisch stoppen wenn sie einHindernis orten.
NIEDen Treppenlift ohne den Sicherheitsgurt, oder den Beckengurt nutzen.
NIEDen Treppenlift stehend benutzen.
IMMERDie Füße während der Fahrt AUF DEM FUSSBRETT BEHALTEN und nicht die Füße über dasFußbrett hinaus hängen lassen.
NIEDen Sitz drehen bevor der Lift oben oder unten an der Treppe abgestoppt hat.
IMMERDen Stuhl zusammenklappen wenn er nicht in Gebrauch ist (sonst Hindernis).
WARNUNGWenn der Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzer aktiviert wurde, sollte er nur von einer qualifiziertenPerson zurückgesetzt werden. Dieser Fall wird dadurch angezeigt, dass der Lift nicht dieTreppe hinunterfährt und die Prüfanzeige die Ziffer 0 anzeigt.
xRoutinechecks und WartungxBatteriepflege und
AufladenIhr Minivator Treppenlift istbatteriebetrieben und kann auch nach einemStromausfall eine Zeitlang funktionieren. ImNormalfall können Sie etwa 10 Mal fahrenbevor die Batterien geladen werden müssen.Im Falle eines Stromausfalls bitte daraufachten, dass genügend Licht vorhanden ist,um besonders oben und unten an der Treppeeinen sicheren Ausstieg/Einstieg zugewährleisten.
Ihre Treppenliftschiene ist mit zweiLadepunkten ausgestattet – oben und untenan der Treppe. Der Treppenlift muss beiNichtbenutzung an einer dieser Stellenparkiert werden, um aufzuladen. Wenn erein Piepgeräusch macht und /oder eine „2“auf der Prüfanzeige anzeigt und er nicht inBetrieb ist LÄDT ER NICHT AUF. Bitteüberprüfen, ob die Stromversorgung für denTreppenlift eingeschaltet ist. Wenn ereingeschaltet ist und der Piepton nichtaufhört, bitte Ihren Minivator Händler oderden Kundendienst unter der Nummer 08700118282 anrufen.
ReparaturenIhr Treppenlift hat keine für den Nutzerverwertbaren Teile. Wenn Beschädigungensichtbar sind oder das Gerät ungewohnteGeräusche hervorbringt oder Störungen imBetrieb zeigt, bitte Ihren Händler oderMinivator verständigen. Wir empfehleneinen Kundendienstcheck des Liftes nach denersten 12 Monaten und danach MINDESTENSALLE 12 MONATE.
Pflege & WartungBevor Sie Ihren Minivator Treppenliftreinigen, bitte vorher den Schlüssel abziehen.
Ihr Minivator Treppenlift ist mitverschiedenen, leicht zu reinigendenMaterialien gebaut worden. Der Sitz und die
Verkleidungen können mit einem feuchten,ABER NICHT NASSEN, Tuch und etwasReinigungsmittel abgewischt werden.
Bitte KEINE Scheuermittel, Bleiche oderlösungsmittelhaltige Reiniger benutzen,denn diese beschädigen den Sitz.
Für die Schienenreinigung, den Treppenliftzum oberen Haltepunkt fahren. Die Schienekann mit einem feuchten Tuch abgewischtwerden. Wenn die Schiene dort sauber ist,den Treppenlift nach unten fahren und dieSchiene reinigen. Dabei sollten keineSchmutzpartikel in die Schiene fallen.
Damit Ihr Minivator Treppenlift imeinwandfreien technischen Zustand bleibt,empfehlen wir eine regelmäßige Wartungdurch qualifizierte Techniker.
Entsorgung IhresTreppenlifts
Ihr Treppenlift besteht aus hochwertigenMaterialien und Komponenten, diewiederverwendet werden können.
Das Symbol des durchgestrichenenMülleimers bedeutet, dass IhrTreppenlift unter die europäischeAbfallrichtlinie Nr. 2002/96/EC,fällt, die die Entsorgung von
Elektroschrott und elektronischen Gerätenregelt.
Ihr Treppenlift darf nicht imHausmüll/Sperrmüll entsorgt werden,sondern muss demWiederverwertungskreislauf zugeführtwerden.

Votre monte-escaliers Minivator a uninterrupteur à clé (Figure 2).
Le monte-escaliers ne peut pas fonctionnersi la clé n’est pas insérée et mise enposition marche.
L’interrupteur à clé est fourni pourvous permettre de verrouiller le monte-escaliers afin d’éviter qu’il ne soitutilisé par d’autres personnes (parexemple des enfants).
Cependant, elle peut être laissée enposition marche si vous le souhaitez.
Si vous enlevez la clé par sécurité, s’ilvous plaît mettez- la dans un endroitsûr.
Si l’interrupteur à clé est en position arrêtle monte-escaliers continuera de secharger.
En plus de l’interrupteur à clé , votremonte-escaliers est doté d’un interrupteurmarche/arrêt (Figure 3) qui est sous lepanneau de devant du monte-escaliers.
Assurez vous qu’il est laissé en positionMarche (’ON’). L’affichage de diagnosticde défaut s’éclairera pour l’indiquer .
Si vous avez l’intention de vous absenter dela maison pendant une longue période, etque vous décidiez de couper l’alimentation,il est important que vous mettiezégalement ce bouton sur la position Arrêt(off).
Cela assurera le maintien de la charge de labatterie du monte-escaliers quand vousn’êtes pas là.
Avant utilisationAvant d’utiliser votre monte-escaliers, LEPLUS IMPORTANT est, s’il vous plaît de vousassurer que les escaliers sont vides, sanspersonne, sans animal domestique ou sansobjet qui pourraient encombrer votremonte-escaliers.
Puis assurez vous que les accoudoirs, lerepose-pieds et le siège sont dépliés pourêtre utilisés et assurer votre sécurité(Figure 5).

Affichage de diagnosticLe monte-escaliers est équipé d’unaffichage de diagnostic (Figure 4) quiaffiche un code pour aider à diagnostiquerdes pannes. Référez-vous à l’Annexe 1 pourune explication des codes de diagnostic. Sivous rencontrez un problème avec votremonte-escaliers s’il vous plait examinezl’affichage et prenez note des codes quisont affichés. La télécommande (Figure 7) est utiliséepour appeler le monte-escaliers depuis soitle haut/bas des escaliers ou pour faire unpliage automatique pivotant là où il est.Cette commande peut également êtreutilisée par une aide (exemple aidesoignant) si l’utilisateur en attente de leprendre est dans l’incapacité de fairefonctionner le monte-escaliers par lui-même.
L’aide doit toujours être en dehors de lacage d’escaliers avant que le monte-escaliers ne s’arrête.
Votre siege de Minivator Simplicity+ 950,les accoudoirs et le repose-pieds peuventêtre repliés pour permettre un passage plusfacile pour monter ou descendre lesescaliers lorsqu’on ne l’utilise pas (Figure 8).

Liaison du plateau des pieds manuelle(optionnel)
Si votre monte-escaliers est équipé d’uneliaison de plateau des pieds manuelle, leplateau des pieds va automatiquement sereplier lorsque le coussin du siège dedevant est soulevé. Il va égalements’abaisser lorsque le coussin du siège dedevant est abaissé.
Liaison du plateau des pieds électrique– actionnée par le coussin du siège(optionnel)Si votre monte-escaliers est équipé d’uneliaison de plateau des pieds électriqueactionné par le coussin du siège il vaautomatiquement se replier lorsque lecoussin du siège de devant est soulevé. Il vaégalement s’abaisser lorsque le coussin dusiège de devant est abaissé.Liaison du plateau des pieds électrique– actionnée par l’accoudoir (optionnel)Si votre monte-escaliers est équipé d’uneliaison de plateau des pieds électriqueactionnée par l’accoudoir il va avoir uninterrupteur supplémentaire sousl’accoudoir (Figure 9). Votre monte-escaliers Minivator fonctionneen appuyant simplement et en restantappuyé sur l’interrupteur defonctionnement dans la direction où vousvoulez aller (Figure 6). Le monte-escalierss’arrêtera automatiquement lorsquel’interrupteur est relâché ou que le monte-escaliers a atteint la fin du trajet.
S’IL VOUS PLAIT NOTEZPar sécurité, l’activation initiale du monte-escaliers est retardée de 1 seconde aprèsappui et maintien sur l'interrupteur defonctionnement, pour éviter unfonctionnement accidentel. Sil’interrupteur est relâché alors que lemonte-escaliers est en mouvement, lemonte-escaliers va s’arrêter et un délaid’une seconde va s’écouler avant quel’interrupteur redémarre le monte-escaliers.
Lors du changement de direction du trajetun délai de 3 secondes va s’établir avant quele monte-escaliers commence à se déplacer.

Un siège pivotant est présent pour vouspermettre de monter/descendre du siègeplus facilement en haut des escaliers envous faisant pivoter sur le palier.
Pour faire fonctionner le siègepivotant, attendez que le monte-escaliers soit arrêté.
Pour faire pivoter le siège soit poussezvers le bas le levier de pivotement (il y en aun de chaque côté du siège) ou tirez levers le haut. Il relâchera les verrous dusiège et vous permettra de déplacer lesiège en poussant depuis le repose-pieds.Lorsque le siège atteint 90 degrés il severrouillera en position de blocage.
Vous ne devrez pas essayer de quitter lesiège tant que le siège n’est pasfermement fixé dans sa position de verrou.
Pour pivoter dans la direction opposéesuivez la même procédure, mais poussezdepuis le palier.
Fonctionnement du pivot électrique(optionnel)
Si votremonte-escaliers a un pivot optionnelélectrique il n’y aura pas de levier inclus.Pour faire pivoter le siège tirez vers le hautl’interrupteur de fonctionnement. Lorsquele monte-escaliers atteindra le haut desescaliers continuez à tirer vers le hautl’interrupteur de fonctionnement.
Le monte-escaliers émettra trois bip et puisle siège pivotera. Lorsque le siège acomplètement pivoté de 90 degrés le sièges’arrêtera.
Vous ne devez pas essayer de quitter le siègetant qu’il n’a pas tourné complètement.
Pour pivoter dans la direction opposéesuivez la même procédure à l’envers.Poussez le levier de fonctionnement vers lebas.Le siège émettra trois bip et puis aprèsune courte pause il tournera dans ladirection du trajet. Continuez de maintenirle levier vers le bas. Le monte-escaliers va ànouveau émettre trois bip avant decommencer sa descente.
PRECAUTIONS DE SECURITE
NE JAMAISFaire pivoter le siège sans avoir attaché laceinture.
NE JAMAISMonter ou descendre du siège pivotanttant qu’il n’est pas verrouillé.
NE JAMAISEssayer de faire fonctionner le siègepivotant alors que le siège est enmouvement. (Par sécurité, si vous essayezcela, le monte-escaliers s’arrêtera).
NE JAMAISEssayer de monter ou descendre avec lemonte-escaliers alors que le siège n’est pasen bonne position (exemple faire facedirectement à la cage d’escaliers).

Dans le cas peu probable où le monte-escaliers a une panne d’électricité totaleou continue après le dernier rail il y a uneprocédure de fonctionnement manuelled’urgence. S’il vous plaît suivez ces étapes:
1. Eteignez le monte-escaliers avec la clé.
2. Insérez la poignée de fonctionnementmanuel d’urgence (Figure 11).
3. Tournez la poignée dans la directionindiquée pour le mouvement souhaité.
4. Lorsque la position souhaitée estatteinte enlevez le remontoir manuel etmettez en marche le monte-escaliers.

Votre monte-escaliers a des bords sécurisésau dessous du repose-pieds et sur le monte-escaliers lui-même qui arrêteront le monte-escaliers si un objet venait à se piéger dansle repose-pieds (Figure 12).
Pour enlever l’objet éloignez lemonte-escaliers de l’objet puis enlevezl’objet de la cage d’escaliers. Enfinprocédez normalement pour utiliser votremonte-escaliers.

NE JAMAISPlacez des objets sur le rail ou laisser des objets dans les escaliers, où ils pourraient rentreren contact avec le monte-escaliers durant son fonctionnement. Votre monte-escaliers estéquipé avec des bords sur les côté et dessous le plateau des pieds sensibles à la pression, quiarrêteront automatiquement le monte-escaliers s’il détecte toute obstruction.
NE JAMAISUtilisez le monte-escaliers sans mettre la ceinture aux genoux, ou toutes autres ceintures desécurité ou de harnais.
NE JAMAISUtilisez le monte-escaliers en étant debout dessus.
TOUJOURSMettre vos PIEDS SUR LE PLATEAU DES PIEDS lorsque le monte-escaliers est en mouvement,et essayer d’éviter de faire pendre vos pieds sur les bords du plateau des pieds.

TOUJOURSReplier la chaise lorsque il n’est pas utilisé pour éviter d’encombrer le passage.
MISE EN GARDESi le contrôleur de dépassement de vitesse est activé il doit être réinitialisé par unepersonne compétente, c’est à dire un vendeur approuvé par Minivator. Son activation estindiquée quand le monte-escaliers ne peut pas descendre les escaliers et que l’affichage dediagnostic affiche 0.
xSoin régulier et maintenancexEntretien de la batterie
et chargementVotre monte-escaliers Minivator est alimentépar batterie et continuera à fonctionnerpendant un certain temps même si vous avezune coupure de courant. Vous pourreznormalement monter et descendre les escaliersau moins 10 fois sans avoir besoin de rechargerles batteries. En particulier lors d’une coupurede courant, cependant vous devez toujoursvous assurer qu’il y a assez de lumière pourpermettre un déplacement sécurisé, etspécialement à chaque extrémité du rail là oùvous mettez en marche et arrêter le monte-escaliers.
Votre rail de monte-escaliers a des points decharge, Normalement en haut et en bas de lacage d’escaliers. Votre monte-escaliiers doitêtre laissé sur un de ces points de chargementlorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé pour s’assurer que lesbatteries soient chargées. Si le monte-escaliersémet un bip et/ou que l’affichage indique un"2" lorsqu’il est laissé sur un point de charge etqu’il n’est pas utilisé IL N’EST PAS EN CHARGE.S’il vous plaît vérifiez que l’alimentationélectrique pour le monte-escaliers est surmarche. Si elle est sur marche et que le bipcontinue s’il vous plaît contactez votre vendeurou appelez le service client minivator au 08700118282.
MaintenanceIl n’y pas de partie réparable par l’utilisateurdans votre monte-escaliers. Si un dégât estvisible ou si votre monte-escaliers sonne ou aun comportement inhabituel contactezMinivator ou votre vendeur certifiéimmédiatement. Nous conseillons de faire unevisite de maintenance de votre monte-escaliersaprès les 12 premiers mois et après AU MOINSTOUS LES 12 MOIS.
Soin et nettoyageAvant le nettoyage de toute partie de votremonte-escaliers Minivator s’il vous plaît assurezvous d’avoir enlevé la clé.
Les monte-escaliers Minivator sont fabriquésavec des matériaux différents, tous avec des
surfaces nettoyables facilement. Le siège et lagarniture peuvent être essuyés avec un chiffonhumidifié mais NON MOUILLÉ et avec unepetite quantité de liquide à vaisselle.
S’IL VOUS PLAIT N’UTILSEZ pas de nettoyantabrasif, avec de la javel ou à base de solvant,car cela endommagerait le siège.
Pour nettoyer le rail, en premier montez lemonte-escaliers en haut des escaliers.
Le rail peut être nettoyé avec un chiffonhumidifié.
Lorsque presque tout le rail est nettoyé, faitesdescendre le monte-escaliers en bas desescaliers et finissez de nettoyer le rail en vousassurant qu’aucun débris de nettoyage ne soittombé dedans.
Pour maintenir votre monte-escaliersMinivator en bon état mécanique, il estrecommandé de le faire maintenir par untechnicien qualifié.
Mise au rebut devotre monte-escaliersVotre monte-escaliers a été fabriqué enutilisant des matériaux et composants de hautequalité qui peuvent être recyclés et réutilisés.
Le symbole de poubelle barréed’une croix indique que votremonte-escaliers est soumis à ladirective Européenne 2002/96/EC,qui régit la mise au rebut dedéchet d’appareil électrique
et électronique.
Cela signifie que votre monte-escaliers ne doitêtre pas être jeté avec les déchets domestiquesmais doit être mis au rebut de manièreappropriée pour recyclage.

Su subescaleras Minivator viene equipadocon un interruptor principal (Figura 2).
El subescaleras no puede operarse a menosque la llave del interruptor se coloque enposición de “on” (encendido).
La llave del interruptor se leproporciona para permitirle bloquearel subescaleras y evitar que sea usadopor otros (por ejemplo, niños).
Sin embargo, puede dejarse en la posiciónde “on” (encendido) si se desea.
Si retira la llave por motivos deseguridad, por favor asegúrese deponerla en un lugar seguro.
Si el interruptor se deja en posición de“off” (apagado), el elevador continuarácargándose.
Así como el interruptor con llave, susubescaleras viene equipado con uninterruptor de on/off (encendido/apagado)(Figura 3) en el panel inferior lateral delelevador.
Asegúrese que este se encuentre enposición de ‘ON’. El panel devisualización de diagnóstico de fallas seiluminará para indicar esto.
Si piensa estar lejos de casa por un largoperíodo de tiempo, y decide apagar laalimentación principal, es importante quetambién apague elevador desde esteinterruptor de on/off.
Esto asegurará que las baterías delelevador permanezcan cargadas mientrasestá fuera.
Antes de su usoAntes de usar su subescaleras, LO MÁSIMPORTANTE es que debe asegurarse queen las escaleras no haya personas, mascotasu otros objetos que podrían obstaculizar asu subescaleras.
Luego asegúrese que los brazos, reposapiésy asiento estén plegados hacia abajo paragarantizar su seguridad (Figura 5).

Pantalla de diagnósticoEl subescaleras viene equipado con unapantalla de diagnóstico (Figura 4) quemuestra un código para ayudar adiagnosticar fallas. Revise el Anexo 1 paratener una explicación de los códigos dediagnóstico. Si experimenta un problemacon su elevador, examine la pantalla yescriba una nota de los códigos en pantalla.Por favor, informe al operador de servicio alcliente acerca de estos códigos cuandonotifique la falla.

El control remoto (Figura 7) se usa ya seapara llamar al elevador ya sea a la partesuperior o a la parte inferior de la escalera,o para acomodar una bisagra eléctricaplegada en su lugar. Este control tambiénpuede usarlo un asistente cuando elusuario no puede operar el subescaleraspor sí mismo.
El asistente siempre debe permanecerfuera de las escaleras hasta que elsubescaleras se haya detenido.
El asiento, apoyabrazos y reposapiés de suMinivator Simplicity+ 950 pueden plegarsepara permitir subir y bajar las escaleras demanera más fácil cuando éste no está enuso (Figura 8).
PRECAUCIÓN DE SEGURIDAD!
SIEMPRE REGRESE EL SUBESCALERAS A LAPOSICIÓN DONDE LO ACOSTUMBRAGUARDAR. ES DECIR, CON LOSAPOYABRAZOS, ASIENTO Y REPOSAPIÉSPLEGADOS Y LA SILLA PARALELA AL RIELCOMO SE OBSERVA EN LA FIGURA 9, PARANO OBSTACULIZAR LAS SALIDAS.
Unión de reposapiés manual(opcional)
Si su subescaleras viene equipado con unaunión de reposapiés manual, el reposapiésse plegará automáticamente cuando elcojín del asiento delantero se levante.Asimismo, bajará el reposapiés cuando elcojín del asiento delantero se baje.
Unión de reposapiés eléctrico – operadodesde el cojín del asiento (opcional)
Si su subescaleras viene equipado con unaunión de reposapiés eléctrico que puedeoperarse desde el cojín del asiento, plegaráautomáticamente el reposapiés cuando selevante el cojín del asiento delantero.También bajará el reposapiés cuando elcojín del asiento delantero se baje.
Unión de reposapiés eléctrico –operado desde el brazo (opcional)
Si su subescaleras viene equipado con unaunión de reposapiés eléctrico que puedeoperarse desde el brazo, tendrá uninterruptor adicional bajo el brazo (Figura9). Para bajar el reposapiés, use elinterruptor oscilador bajo el brazo. Paralevantar el reposapiés, mueva el interruptoroscilador a su posición alternativa.
Nota: Si está moviendo el reposapiésmientras está sentado en el subescaleras,por favor asegúrese que sus pies no esténobstaculizando el reposapiés cuando esté enmovimiento.

Su subescaleras Minivator funcionasimplemente presionando y moviendo lapalanca de operación en la dirección dondedesea viajar (Figura 6). El subescaleras sedetendrá automáticamente cuando sueltela palanca o cuando éste haya alcanzado elfin de su trayectoria.
POR FAVOR NOTE LO SIGUIENTE:Por motivos de seguridad, la activacióninicial del subescaleras tiene 1 segundo deretraso desde que presiona y mueve lapalanca de operación, para evitar unaoperación accidental. Si suelta la palancamientras que el elevador está enmovimiento, éste se detendrá y habrá unretraso de 1 segundo antes que la palancavuelva a iniciar el elevador.
Al cambiar la dirección de la trayectoria, elretraso será de 3 segundos antes que elelevador empiece a moverse.

Se incluye un asiento giratorio parapermitirle subirse/bajarse del asiento másfácilmente en la parte superior de lasescaleras, girando hacia el lado por dondeva a bajar.
Para operar el asiento giratorio, esperehasta que el subescaleras se hayadetenido.
Para girar el asiento coja ambas palancasgiratorias hacia abajo o jálelas hacia arriba(hay una a cada lado del asiento). Estosoltará el bloqueo del asiento y le permitirágirar el asiento empujándolo lejos delreposapiés. Cuando el asiento alcance los90 grados, se bloqueará en su posición.
No debe intentar salir del asiento hastaque se haya fijado (haciendo “clic”) en suposición de bloqueo.
Para girar en la dirección opuesta, siga elmismo procedimiento, pero empújese lejosdel lado por donde va a bajar.
Opción giratoria eléctrica (opcional)
Si su subescaleras viene equipado con unaopción giratoria eléctrica, no habrápalancas giratorias. Para girar el asientocoloque la palanca de operación endirección hacia arriba. Cuando elsubescaleras alcance la parte superior delas escaleras continúe sosteniendo la palancade operación en dirección hacia arriba.
El subescaleras dará tres pitidos y luego elasiento girará. Cuando el asiento hayagirado completamente a 90 grados, elasiento se detendrá.
No deberá intentar bajar del asiento hastaque éste haya girado por completo.
Para girar en la dirección opuesta, siga elmismo procedimiento pero a la inversa.Presione la palanca de operación endirección hacia abajo. El asiento dará trespitidos y luego de una corta pausaempezará a rotar a la dirección deseado.Continúe sosteniendo la palanca deoperación en dirección hacia abajo. Elsubescaleras volverá a dar tres pitidos antesde descender.
PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDADNUNCAGire el asiento sin haberse ajustado lacorrea en el regazo.
NUNCASe suba o baje del asiento giratorio amenos que esté en posición de bloqueo.
NUNCAIntente operar el asiento giratorio con elsubescaleras en movimiento. (Comoprecaución de seguridad, si intenta usarlocon el elevador en movimiento, éste sedetendrá).
NUNCAIntente subir o bajar las escaleras a menosque el asiento esté en posición correcta (esdecir, directamente frente a las escaleras).
Operando su Minivator Simplicity+ 950
En el caso poco probable que el elevadorsufra una falla eléctrica total o que noconsiga llegar a la parada del riel final,entonces se procederá a un giro deemergencia manual. Por favor, siga estospasos:
1. Apague el interruptor del subescalerascon la llave.
2. Inserte la perilla de giro de emergenciamanual (Figura 11).
3. Gire la perilla en la dirección indicadapara el movimiento requerido.
4. Cuando logre la posición deseada, retirela perilla manual y encienda el elevador.

Su subescaleras viene equipado con bordesde seguridad en la parte inferior delreposapiés y en el elevador mismo, el cualdetendrá el subescaleras si algún artículo sequedara atrapado en el reposapiés(Figura 12).
Para retirar el artículo, invierta elmovimiento del subescaleras lejos delobjeto y retire el objeto de las escaleras.Continúe utilizando su subescaleras comosiempre.

xSeguridad y mantenimientoxLe aconsejamos realizar el mantenimiento de su subescaleras luego de los primeros 12 meses deuso y posteriormente, AL MENOS CADA 12 MESES.
Esta tarea debe hacerla una persona competente, es decir un representante aprobado porMinivator.

Si el subescaleras es de su propiedad y ya no necesita utilizarlo, su representante o Minivatorpodrían estar interesados en adquirirlo.
Advertencias y precaucionesNUNCAPermita que más de una persona utilice el subescaleras a la vez.
La capacidad máxima de carga es 120kg.
NUNCAPermita que los niños jueguen encima o con el subescaleras.
NUNCAPermita que el agua entre en contacto con los componentes del subescaleras. Si tiene quetransportar líquidos, HÁGALO CON CUIDADO.
NUNCAColoque objetos en el riel ni los deje en las escaleras, donde podrían entrar en contacto conel elevador en movimiento. Su subescaleras viene equipado con bordes laterales sensibles ala presión y una bandeja inferior en el reposapiés que detendrá automáticamente elelevador si detecta cualquier obstáculo.
NUNCAUse el subescaleras sin la correa en el regazo, u otro cinturón de seguridad o arnés.
NUNCAUse el subescaleras cuando esté de pie.
SIEMPREMantenga sus PIES EN EL REPOSAPIÉS hasta que el subescaleras siga en movimiento, eintente evitar que sus pies cuelguen de los bordes del reposapiés.
NUNCAGire el asiento hasta que el elevador se haya detenido en la parte superior o inferior delsubescaleras.
SIEMPREPliegue la silla cuando no esté en uso para evitar obstaculizar las salidas.
ADVERTENCIASi se activa el regulador de sobrevelocidad, debe apagarlo solamente una personacompetente, es decir un representante aprobado por Minivator. La activación del reguladorde sobrevelocidad se indica cuando el elevador no puede impulsarse hacia abajo de lasescaleras y la pantalla de diagnóstico muestra un 0.
xCuidado y mantenimiento rutinariosxCuidado y carga de
la bateríaSu subescaleras Minivator funciona conbaterías y continuará funcionando por unperíodo de tiempo incluso si tiene un corte deenergía. Normalmente, debería poder ir haciaarriba y abajo en las escaleras 10 veces sintener que cambiar las baterías. Especialmenteen caso de corte de energía; sin embargo,siempre debe asegurarse que haya suficienteluz para tener un ascenso o descenso seguro ymás específicamente en cada extremo del rieldonde se suba y baje del elevador.
El riel de su subescaleras viene equipado conpuntos de carga, normalmente en la partesuperior e inferior de las escaleras. Susubescaleras debe permanecer en uno de esospuntos de carga cuando no esté en uso paraasegurarse que las baterías se carguen. Si elsubescaleras emite un pitido y/o la pantallamuestra un “2” cuando se deja en un puntode carga y no está en uso, entonces NO SEESTÁ CARGANDO. Por favor, revise que laalimentación de corriente del subescaleras estéencendida. Si está encendida y sigue dandopitidos, por favor contacte a su representanteo al Departamento de Mantenimiento deMinivator al teléfono 08700 118282.
MantenimientoNo hay partes que puedan ser reparadas por elusuario en su subescaleras. Si aparece un dañovisible o su subescaleras suena o se comportade manera extraña, contacte a Minivator o asu representante aprobado inmediatamente.Recomendamos realizar el mantenimiento desu subescaleras luego de los primeros 12 mesesde uso y posteriormente, AL MENOS CADA 12MESES.
Cuidado y limpiezaAntes de limpiar cualquier parte de susubescaleras Minivator, por favor asegúrese dehaber retirado la llave.
El subescaleras de Minivator ha sido diseñadocon una variedad de materiales, todos consuperficies “de fácil limpieza”. Las cubiertas
del asiento y cuerpo pueden limpiarse con unpaño húmedo, NO MOJADO, y una pequeñacantidad de detergente líquido.
POR FAVOR, NO use limpiadores abrasivos,lejía o limpiadores en base a solventes, ya queestos dañarán el asiento.
Para limpiar el riel, primero envíe elsubescaleras a la parte superior de lasescaleras. El riel puede limpiarse con un pañohúmedo. Cuando la mayor parte del riel estélimpia, lleve el subescaleras a la parte inferiorde las escaleras y termine de limpiar el riel,asegurándose que ningún resto de limpiezacaiga sobre él.
Para conservar su subescaleras Minivator enbuenas condiciones mecánicas, se recomiendallevar a cabo mantenimientos regulares porparte de ingenieros de mantenimientocalificados.
Eliminación de suSubescaleras
Su subescaleras ha sido fabricado conmateriales y componentes de alta calidad, quepueden reciclarse y reutilizarse.
El símbolo de basurero con ruedastachado con una cruz indica que susubescaleras cumple con laDirectiva Europea 2002/96/EC, lacual rige sobre la eliminación de
equipos eléctricos y electrónicos de desecho.
Esto significa que su subescaleras no debeeliminarse como basura del hogar, sino quedebe eliminarse adecuadamente o dejarse enun lugar de reciclaje.
El reciclaje de este producto ayudará aproteger el medio ambiente, asegurando quetodos los materiales del subescaleras semanejen adecuadamente.

Il vostro elevatore Minivator dispone di uninterruttore a chiave (Figura 2).
L’elevatore non può funzionare a menoche la chiave sia inserita e girata inposizione.
L’interruttore a chiave è fornito perpermettervi di bloccare l’elevatore inmodo da impedirne l’uso ad altri (peresempio bambini).
Comunque, l’interruttore può esserelasciato in posizione accesa se desiderato.
Se rimuovete la chiave per motivi disicurezza, ponetela in un posto sicuro.
Se l’interruttore a chiave è spento,l’elevatore resterà sotto carica.
Oltre all’interruttore a chiave, il vostroelevatore è provvisto di un interruttoreacceso / spento (Figura 3) in basso sulpannello laterale dell’elevatore.
Assicurarsi che quest’interruttore sialasciato in posizione "acceso". Loschermo diagnostico illuminato loconfermerà.
Se intendete stare lontano da casa per unlungo periodo, e decidete di spegnerel’alimentazone generale, è importantericordarsi di spegnere quest’interruttore.
Questo garantirà che le batterie rimanganocariche durante la vostra assenza.
Cose da fareprima dell’uso
Prima di utilizzare il vostro elevatore, èMOLTO IMPORTANTE che verifichiate chele scale siano sgombre di altre persone,animali domestici o di oggetti che possanoostacolare il vostro elevatore.
In seguito assicuratevi che i braccioli, lapedana e il sedile siano aperti per garantirela vostra sicurezza (Figura 5).

Il telecomando (Figura 7) viene utilizzatoper chiamare l’elevatore verso la cima o ilfondo delle scale o per attivare la cernieradi rotazione (se installata). Il controllo puòanche essere utilizzato da un assistente nelcaso l’utente non sia in grado di utilizzarel’elevatore da solo.
L’assistente dovrebbe sempre rimanere aldi fuori della scalinata fino a chel’elevatore non si sia fermato.
Sedile, braccioli e pedana del vostroMinivator Simplicity+ 950 possono essereripiegati per consentire un transitosemplificato sulla scalinata quando ilsistema non è utilizzato.
PRECAUZIONE DI SICUREZZA!
RIPORTARE SEMPRE L’ELEVATORE INPOSIZIONE RIPIEGATA, CIOÈ CONBRACCIOLI, SEDILE E PEDANA POGGIAPIEDIPIEGATA E CON IL SEDILE PARALLELO ALLAPISTA DI SCORRIMENTO COME MOSTRATOIN FIGURA 8, IN MODO DA NON OSTRUIRELE USCITE.
Collegamento manuale pedana(opzionale)
Se il vostro elevatore è provvisto di uncollegamento manuale predana, la pedanasi ripiegherà automaticamente quando ilcuscino anteriore del sedile verrà sollevato.La pedana si abbasserà quando il cuscinoanteriore del sedile verrà abbassato.
Collegamento pedana motorizzato -azionato dal cuscino del sedile(opzionale)Se il vostro elevatore dispone di uncollegamento pedana motorizzatoazionato dal cuscio del sedile, la pedana siripiegherà automaticamente quando ilcuscino del sedile viene sollevato. Lapedana si abbasserà quando il cuscinoanteriore del sedile verrà abbassato.
Collegamento pedana motorizzato -azionato dal bracciolo (opzionale)Se il vostro elevatore è dotato di uncollegamento pedana motorizzatoazionato dal bracciolo, ci sarà un ulterioreinterruttore sotto il bracciolo (Figura 9). Perabbassare la pedana poggiapiedi, usarel’interruttore sotto il bracciolo. Persollevare la pedana, spostare l’interruttorenella posizione alternativa.
Nota bene: se muovete la pedana standoseduti sull’elevatore, assicuratevi che ivostri piedi non ostruiscano il movimentodella pedana.

Il vostro elevatore Minivator funzionasemplicemente premendo e tenendopremuta la leva d’attivazione nelladirezione in cui desiderate spostarvi (Figura6). L’elevatore si fermerà automaticamentequando l’interruttore verrà lasciato oquando l’elevatore avrà raggiunto la finedella pista di scorrimento.
NOTA BENE:Per motivi di sicurezza, l’attivazione inizialedell’elevatore è ritardata di 1 secondorispetto alla pressione della levad’attivazione, per evitare movimentiaccidentali. Se l’interruttore viene rilasciatomentre l’elevatore è in movimento,l’elevatore si arresterà e un ritardo di 1secondo avrà luogo prima chel’interruttore faccia riprendere ilmovimento.
Cambiando direzione di spostamento, cisarà un ritardo di 3 secondi prima chel’elevatore inizi a muoversi.

Utilizzare la rotazionesedile

Il sedile rotante vi permette di salire /scendere dal sedile più facilmente unavolta arrivati in cima alle scale, tramite unarotazione che vi porrà sul pianerottolo.
Per utilizzare la rotazione sedile,attendere che l’elevatore si siaarrestato.
Per ruotare il sedile, impugnare la leva asinistra o quella a destra e muoverla in altoo in basso. Ciò sbloccherà il sedile e viconsentirà di ruotare il sedile. Quando ilsedile raggiungerà un angolo di 90 gradi sibloccherà in posizione.
Si raccomanda di non alzarsi dal sedile finoa che esso non sia bloccato saldamente afine corsa.
Per ruotare il sedile in direzione opposta,seguire la stessa procedura, ma spingereper allontanarsi dal pianerottolo.
Rotazione sedile motorizzata(opzionale)
Se il vostro elevatore è dotato di rotazionesedile motorizzata (opzionale), non cisaranno leve per la rotazione. Per ruotare ilsedile, mantenere l’interruttore a levella indirezione SU. Quando l’elevatoreraggiungerà la cima delle scale, continuarea premere l’interruttore a levetta indirezione SU. L’elevatore produrrà tre suoni(bip), quindi il sedile inizierà a ruotare.Quando avrà ruotato per 90 gradi, il sedilesi arresterà.
Si raccomanda di non alzarsi dal sedile finoa che la rotazione non è completa.
Per ruotare in direzione opposta seguire laprocedura inversa. Premere la levaoperativa in direzione GIU’. Il sedileprodurrà tre suoni (bip) e, dopo una brevepausa, ruoterà fino alla posizione di guida.Continuare a mantenere la leva dicomando in posizione GIU’. L’elevatoreprodurrà nuovamente tre suoni (bip) primadi iniziare la discesa.
PRECAUZIONI PER LA SICUREZZA
MAIfar ruotare il sedile senza la cintura disicurezza allacciata.
MAIsalire o scendere dal sedile rotante a menoche sia bloccato in posizione.
MAIprovare ad utilizzare la rotazione del sedilequando l’elevatore è in movimento. (Perprecauzione, se doveste provare adutilizzare la rotazione mentre l’elevatore èin movimento, l’elevatore si arresterà).
MAIprovare a spostarsi su o giù lungo lascalinata se il sedile non è in posizionecorretta (rivolto verso la direzione in cui cisi sposta).
Uso del vostro Minivator Simplicity+ 950
Nell’improbabile evenienza che l’elevatoresubisca una completa mancanza dialimentazione o che si porti a fine corsasulla guida di scorrimento, esiste unaprocedura di emergenza per lospostamento manuale. Eseguire leoperazioni seguenti:
1. Spegnere l’elevatore con l’interruttore achiavetta.
2. Inserire la manopola per spostamentid’emergenza (Figura 11).
3. Ruotare la manopola nella direzione incui si desidera spostare l’elevatore.
4. Quando la posizione desiderata è stataraggiunta, rimuovere la manopola eaccendere l’elevatore con l’interruttorea chiave.
In caso di dubbi contattare il vostrorivenditore d’area autorizzato Minivatoroppure chiamate Minivator allo08700 118282.
Il vostro elevatore dispone di bordini disicurezza lungo la pedana poggiapiedi esul corpo dell’elevatore; tali bordini disicurezza arresteranno l’elevatore in caso cisiano degli oggetti incastrati presso lapedana (Figura 12).
Per rimuovere gli oggetti incastrati,guidare l’elevatore allontanandosidall’oggetto, e far rimuovere l’oggettodalla scalinata. Procedere poi normalmenteall’uso dell’elevatore.

xSicurezza e manutenzionexSi raccomanda di far eseguire un controllo periodico dopo i primi 12 mesi d’uso e, in seguito,ALMENO OGNI 12 MESI.
Questo controllo deve essere eseguito da una persona competente, cioè da un rivenditoreautorizzato Minivator.
In caso di dubbi, contattare il Servizio Assistenza Minivator allo 08700 118282.
Se possedete il vostro elevatore e non ne avete più bisogno, il vostro rivenditore o Minivatorstessa potrebbero essere interessati ad acquistarlo.
Avvisi e precauzioniMAIConsentire a più di una persona di utilizzare l’elevatore nello stesso momento.
La massima capacità di carico è 120 Kg.
MAIConsentire a bambini di giocare con o sull’elevatore.
MAIPermettere che l’acqua venga in contatto con i componenti dell’elevatore. Se l’utente devetrasportare liquidi, lo faccia CON ATTENZIONE.
MAIPorre oggetti nella o sulla guida, o lasciare oggetti sulle scale, dove potrebbero venire incontatto con l’elevatore in funzione. Il vostro elevatore è dotato di bordi laterali edinferiori sensibili, che lo fermerebbero in caso di rilevamento di ostacoli.
MAIUsare l’elevatore senza allacciare la cintura di sicurezza o le altre allacciature di sicurezzainstallate.
MAIUsare l’elevatore stando in piedi.
SEMPREMantenere i vostri piedi SULLA PEDANA POGGIAPIEDI quando l’elevatore è in movimento,e cercate di evitare che i vostri piedi superino i bordi della pedana.
MAIRuotare il sedile prima che si sia arrestato in cima o in fondo alle scale.
SEMPRERipiegare il sedile quando non lo si usa, per evitare di ostruire le uscite.
AVVISOSe il controllo di velocità è attivo, solo una persona competente (un rivenditore autorizzatoMinivator) dovrebbe reimpostarlo. L’attivazione del controllo di velocità è indicatadall’impossibilità di guidare l’elevatore verso il basso e dal codice d’errore 0 nello schermodiagnostico.
xCura ordinaria e puliziaxCura e caricamento
della batteriaIl vostro elevatore Minivator è spinto dabatterie e continuerà a funzionare per uncerto periodo anche in caso di mancanza dicorrente elettrica. Dovrebbe esservi possibilespostarvi verso la cima e verso il fondo dellascala almeno 10 volte senza bisogno diricaricare le batterie. In particolare in caso dimancanza di corrente, dovete assicurarvi che visia sufficiente luce per permettere spostamentiin sicurezza, soprattutto alle estremità dellascala, dove salirete e scenderete dall’elevatore.
La guida di scorrimento del vostro elevatoredispone di punti di caricamento, di solito incima e in fondo alla scalinata. Il vostroelevatore dovrebbe essere lasciato in sosta inuno di questi due punti di caricamentoquando non in uso, in modo che le batterievengano caricate. Se l’elevatore produce unsuono (bip) continuo e/o lo schermodiagnostico mostra un “2” quando l’elevatoreviene lasciato presso un punto di caricamentosenza usarlo, LE BATTERIE NON SONO IN FASEDI CARICA. Verificare per favore chel’alimentazione dell’elevatore sia accesa. Se èaccesa e il suono continua, per favorecontattate il vostro rivenditore di fiducia o ilServizio Assistenza Minivator allo08700 118282.
ManutenzioneNel vostro elevatore non ci sono parti chepossano essere mantenute dall’utente. Sel’elevatore mostra danni visibili oppureproduce suoni inconsueti o funziona in modoinusuale, contattare Minivator o il vostrorivenditore autorizzato immediatamente. Siraccomanda di far eseguire un controlloperiodico dopo i primi 12 mesi e in seguitoALMENO OGNI 12 MESI.
Cura e puliziaPrima di pulire qualsiasi parte del vostroelevatore Minivator, per favore verificate diaver rimosso la chiave.
L’elevatore Minivator è prodotto con varimateriali, tutti con superfici facilmente
pulibili. Il sedile e la copertura dell’elevatorepossono essere puliti con un panno umido,NON BAGNATO, e con una piccola quantità diliquido detergente.
NON UTILIZZARE prodotti per la puliziaabrasivi, sbiancanti o prodotti per la puliziacontenenti solventi, in quanto possonodanneggiare il sedile.
Per pulire la pista di scorrimento, inviare primal’elevatore in cima alle scale. La guida puòessere pulita con un panno umido. Quando lamagior parte della guida sarà pulita, spostatel’elevatore fino in fondo alle scale ecompletare la pulizia della guida assicurandosiche non cadano scorie e residui nella guida.
Per mantenere il vostro elevatore Minivator inbuone condizioni meccaniche, siraccomandano controlli e manutenzioneperiodica eseguita da personale tecnicoqualificato.
Smaltimento delvostro elevatore
Il vostro elevatore è stato prodotto utilizzandomateriali e componenti di alta qualità chepossono essere riciclati e riutilizzati.
Il simbolo del cassonetto con unacroce sopra indica che il vostroelevatore è coperto dalla DirettivaEuropea 2002/96/EC, che governa losmaltimento di materiale elettrico
ed attrezzatura elettronica.
Ciò significa che il vostro elevatore non puòessere smaltito con il resto delle scoriedomestiche ma deve invece essere smaltito inmodo appropriato per essere riciclato.
Riciclare questo prodotto aiuta a proteggerel’ambiente garantendo che tutti i materialicontenuti nell’elevatore siano gestiti in modoappropriato.
