LexisNexis database is one of many IWU databases that provides excellent information on companies
Click on: Business (under Article Databases)
Use the Business Link
Click on: LexisNexis
Locate the Company Info box.
Enter the company name or the ticker symbol. Navigate to the Snapshot page.
Scroll down the page for links to a lot more information including valuable linking with more info!
All the way at the bottom of the page, you have other options for creating a company list, comparing companies. E.g. you might want to compare Amazon with one of its competitors, like Barnes & Noble.
Assignment 4: “Locate this article and be ready to discuss it in class…”
IWU has a specialized “A-Z” tool that lists all the full content journals available at IWU.
This tool tells you if a journal/magazine/newspaper is available—or not, and in what format.
Some titles are available full-text electronically in IWU databases or in print at Jackson Library.
You need the article: Unleashing the power of marketing.Harvard Business Review, Oct 2010, p. 90.
On the OCLS home page, select: Journal Titles
Note: Have your 14 digit Library Access Number ready.
Enter the Journal Title in the Search Box
You will find out if IWU owns a Journal and where it is located.
HBR is available in several sources. Let’s select Business Source Complete database.
The selected database will come up

Select the right issue
Scroll down to the 23rd
article.
