A. IMPORTING PICTURES The pictures must be somewhere on your computer. You can import up to 300 pictures.

There are two ways to import pictures.

Choice #1 - Choose the Import Pictures button, and browse your computer for the

location of the pictures.

Choice #2 - Drag and drop the pictures from their location directly into the Photo Story

timeline.

Drag the pictures left or right along the timeline to re-order.

The Edit Button

Rotate and Crop Tab = Place a check in the Crop box to select the desired area of the

picture. Use the green arrows to rotate.

Auto Fix Tab = turn color correct choices off and on to create achieve best color.

Add Effect Tab = Use the drop down menu to select a special effect. Place a check in the

box to apply the effect to all pictures in the slideshow.

Save = saves the changes you made to the picture (does not save the slideshow)

Reset = undoes all editing performed on the picture

Close = closes the Edit Picture window

C. REMOVING BLACK BORDERS Function = to crop pictures that are not 4:3 ratio

Drag the selected area to the best location then click Yes. It is best to choose Yes, not Yes

to All – This will allow you to look at each photo to determine if the program has chosen

the best cropping option.

Occasionally program skips a picture that should have been cropped – to manually crop,

click Edit, then choose the Rotate and Crop tab.

The Remove Black Borders option will not be available if the program determines that

all pictures are ideally sized for your project.
