Class Discussion – Students discuss a topic which is related to the subject material on the

clip/DVD.

Prediction – You could stop the clip/DVD at a particular point and enter into a class

discussion of what the students think happens next. Alternatively, the students could write a

continuation of the story.

Role-play – The students complete a worksheet while listening to the clip or DVD. You can then check the students’ answers to check their understanding of the material.
