United Steel & Metal Industr ies (USMI) is a dynamic and creative factor y based in the United Arab Emirates, specialized in custom welding and fabrication. The company's main working fields are the production of f i re-f ighting equipment and accessor ies, HVAC Ducts as wel l as Cable Trays. USMI offers a dedication to excellence that pervades its ful l-service design, fabrication, supply, electric works, installation and after-sales-service.

On the international level, USMI extends its reach into many countries. The company supplies its products to the whole Gulf area as well as various other Arabic countries. Furthermore, USMI opensin 2014-2015 its own branches in Egypt and Sudan.

The management at USMI consists of highly qualified members. The company has chosen most skil led managers for each working area. On board there are supremely experienced German engineers, ful l-f ledged sales and marketing managers with German and Brit ish diplomas as well as first class account managers. Last but not least USMI's high skilled and well trained factory employees complete the management.

The Company always searches for new ideas and better production methods. Innovation, research and development as well as excellent personnel are the main factors of allowing it to grow continuously.

Superior QualityWe exclusively use high-quality Stainless Steel (europian brand) and Galvanized Steel Sheets Grade 1.The Galvanized Steel Sheets/Coil we are using have a superior quality e.g. (Nippon, Jindal, ...) .

The Stainless Steel Sheets we are using are highly anticorrosive and do have a fine surface. Further on the steel sheets have a good formability and can be readily welded.

We solely use hot deep galvanized or electro galvanized Steel Sheets Grade 1. Thanks to the zinc coating of the cold rolled steel, a resistance to corrosion is provided. Additionally, the steel provides an excellent formability, surface finish and flatness tolerances.

We guarantee our customers a delivery within agreed time.

We could manufacture any of our products according to dimensions and specifications set by our customers.

The Factory

The United Steel & Metal Industries L.L.C factory is located in the new industrial area of Umm Al Quwain, the United Arab Emirates. USMI's factory is specialized in manufacturing HVAC Ducts, Fire Fighting Equipment Cabinets, Fire Doors as well as Cable Trays.

Using high quality machineries allow us to manufacture products of a superior quality. CNC, Plasma, Laser , WaterJet, NC Bending, NC Cutting, Hydraulic Press Power Machines, such as Spot & TIC Welding machines are used by us to manufacture the USMI products.

To keep the machines working perfectly it is important to control every single part of them continuously. Therefore all our machines are maintained regularly. This allows us to meet our deadlines and to satisfy our customers.

All our projects, big and small, are carried out with the same enthusiasm and attention to detail. To implement this and to guarantee our customers the best quality and service, we have chosen high-skilled employees and in addition trained them well. Further on USMI's management always encourage its employees to come up with new ideas concerning the manufacturing process and the product portfolio. Fire-Fighting Equipment Cabinets

We exclusively use galvanized & electro galvanized coils/ sheets and Stainless Steel Grade 1. Stainless Steel Finishes:

USMi’s Stainless Steel cabinets could be manufactured with all kind of high quality stainless steel finishes. Here our customers could choose between brush and mirror finish.

Along with fire-fighting equipment, all the commercial and residential buildings are required by law, to have Fire-Fighting Cabinets to enclose the equipment.

In case of a fire people need to rely on durable and dependable fire-fighting equipment. That is why it is crucial to keep the life-saving equipments in protective fire cabinets. These cabinets are indispensable as they do keep fire fighting equipment safe from vandalism, water damage etc.

USMI manufactures all kind of Mild Steel and Stainless Steel fire cabinets. We could manufacture any single door, double door, f i re ext inguisher, breeching inlet, stand alone cabinet as well as door and architrave according to dimensions and specifications set by our customers.

Mild Steel- Galvanized Steel Finishes:

The Mild Steel cabinets of USMI do have a superior powder coating. The first step of the coating is the well preparation of every single part of the cabinet. Thereafter the electrostatically charged dry powdered paint is applied to the surface of the steel. In the end the curing process takes place. The cabinets are kept in an oven (200 C) and the powder is allowed to melt and to form a uniform layer on the surface. This is necessary, so that the powder sticks to the substrate permanently. Concerning the colors, our customers could choose between various RAL colors such as RAL3000 (Red) and RAL 9010 (off-white).

HVAC Ducts

USMI manufactures galvanized metal ducts that are used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) to deliver and remove air within a building, such as supply air, return air and exhaust air. This HVAC system ensures pleasant indoor air quality and makes a contribution to a comfortable home, work place and institution.

For the HVAC Duct manufacturing USMI uses its ducting coil line, also known as Autofold machine. The machine has a full computer-based control system. This machine permits the manufacturing of Ducts in the most excellent quality available on the air conditioning market.

To reach the very high standard of our HVAC Ducts and its fittings we are using the software AutoCAD for designing the HVAC Ducts. Moreover we follow certain specification rules concerning our manufacturing materials to make sure that our HVAC Ducts have a superior quality.

Our Material Specifications are as follows:

* High Quality Galvanized Steel (as per consultants requirement) * The Metal Thickness we are working with is from 0.56mm up to 2mm according to SMACNA * Pre Insulated Ducts

Setting goals for the future is crucial in order to be able to expand a company. Therefore we always create precise future plans that we share with all our employees. For USMI's future plans , we have considerably focused on the following strategies:

The acquirement of further machines in order to expand the factory and to be able to accomplish more projects.

Product Diversification We are planning to diversify our product portfolio. This includes the diversification within the Fire Fighting industry and the AC Duct industry as well as entering complete new markets. Moreover more emphasis will be required on providing total logistics and transport solutions to all our existing and future customers world-wide. Entering of more Markets Outside The U.A.E

The management of USMI is highly interested in the exploration of new markets and customers around the globe. Presently our company's target is exploring the possibilities and finally entering the markets in the complete gulf area as well as north Africa.
