What Else Can We Tell You About Your Step 1 Performance?
Arianne Teherani, PhD Director, Program Evaluation Office of Medical Education A whiz in statistics, mathematics, assessment
Looked at 10 years of UCSF student data Found that students Biologic MCAT score, Overall EC Subject
Score, and the CBSE score are most predictive (of all the assessment data we have) of the actual Step 1 score
The model is MOST accurate at identifying students at risk of not passing Step 1 without additional academic assistance
This year, we will provide you a predicted Step 1 score after the CBSE scores come back
