Law Summer School Program6 – 17 February 2017Located in the Sydney CBD and part of the Broadway creative technologies hub, this intensive two-week program is designed for foreign nationals who would like to study Law in Sydney over Summer 2017. The Program consists of lectures across a range of areas, as well as field trips.

13:00-16:00 Visit NSW ParliamentParliament of New South Wales (NSW) is located in Sydney's Central Business District (CBD) and will provide a direct illustration of the
constitutional scheme in Australia
09:00-12:00 Criminal Law Overview of the main principles of NSW criminal law with some comparisons to criminal law in other jurisdictions
13:00-16:00 Visit NSW Supreme Court / District Court
The NSW Supreme Court is the highest court in NSW and the District Court is the intermediate Court in the state's judicial hierarchy. Depending
on the sitting and availability, this court tour will demonstrate a criminal matter and provide participants with direct experience of the Australian
court system
