What’s on today? UV Alert Sun protection recommended from 8:50 am to 5:20 pm, UV Index predicted to reach 11 [Extreme] MDT PROJECTS: All completed MDT projects must be taken home by Wednesday December 18. Anything left beyond that date will be recycled. To make our annual clean up easier, it would be really good if all completed projects could be taken home the next time you have a tech class. Thanks. Please find attached a copy of the Kingston High UV Policy ahead of our Beach Day tomorrow. We would appreciate your support in ensuring your child is sun smart. You can do this by making yourself familiar with the document and help us follow procedures outlined, by encouraging your child to play their part by making sure they bring the appropriate sun smart items with them tomorrow. This includes a hat, sunglasses, long sleeve and bottoms. As per the policy we will provide ample sun screen and staff will be constantly moving among the student reminding them to apply and reapply. Please speak to your child and remind them of the important part they play in being sun smart and encourage them to accept sun screen as offered but also to seek it out. The weather looks fabulous and we are all looking forward to a fun last day before the summer break. You have all made it to the end of 2019. Congratulations! MDT PROJECTS: All completed MDT projects must be taken home by Wednesday December 18.

Anything left beyond that date will be recycled. To make our annual clean up easier, it would be really

good if all completed projects could be taken home the next time you have a tech class. Thanks.

Please find attached a copy of the Kingston High UV Policy ahead of our Beach Day tomorrow. We would

appreciate your support in ensuring your child is sun smart. You can do this by making yourself familiar

with the document and help us follow procedures outlined, by encouraging your child to play their part by

making sure they bring the appropriate sun smart items with them tomorrow. This includes a hat,

sunglasses, long sleeve and bottoms. As per the policy we will provide ample sun screen and staff will be

constantly moving among the student reminding them to apply and reapply. Please speak to your child and

remind them of the important part they play in being sun smart and encourage them to accept sun screen

as offered but also to seek it out. The weather looks fabulous and we are all looking forward to a fun last

day before the summer break.

You have all made it to the end of 2019.

Congratulations! Happy Holidays school returns on Wednesday 5 February.
