He meets a beautiful bookworm who teaches him how to love, as one of every young girl's favorite Disney movies is reinvented for the stage. The play's cast was full of movers and shakers, ready to dance the night away on stage as cutlery or a fierce beast. The costumes were some of the silliest and most inventive of the high school's musicals. Characters like Mrs. Potts is played by Jackie Cosan and a champagne bottle played by Cameron Knight were some of the favorites. No one can forget about the star, the Beast, played by Andrew Boughner who had to stop shaving his face since he was casted as the Beast in November. Most seniors, who participated in the musicals throughout their high school years, dream of being a lead in a musical as popular as Beauty and the Beast. Though he wasn't new to the stage, he outsung many of the other cast members. With Swift Moves the napkins wipe up the show in a fancy dance during "Be Our Guest." The nap- kins are Morgan Baumann, Paige Leslie, Jasmin Cotter, Amy Wilson, Alex Hinck, and Cristi Caleca.
