The Orlando VA Medical Center will host the annual Veterans Creative Arts Festival local competition on February 16, 2018. All Veterans enrolled for VA health care through the Orlando VA Medical Center and it’s clinics are invited to participate. All FIRST place winners will be submitted to the national competition who will then select first, second, and third place winners from entries throughout the USA. A group of select winners will be invited to attend the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival in Des Moines, IA, October 29th - November 5TH, 2018.
• The Visual Arts competition includes 53 categories that range from oil painting toleatherwork to craft kits.

•Visual art can be dropped off Monday, Feb.12, Tuesday, Feb. 13, Wednesday Feb. 14th.

The Performing Arts competition includes 120 categories and include various aspects of music, dance, drama, and creative writing.
All entries in this category, except creative writing, need to be pre-scheduledfor recording on either Tuesday, November 14th, Wednesday Decemeber 13th,and Thursday, January 11th. Creative writing must be turned in by Friday,January 12th.
