The development form of homestay is an adaption to the needs of the existing condition of homes, it can be describe as :

Example of adaptive space in adaptive homestay, Pentingsari. Research doc.2014
![Page 18: V. Reni Vitasurya, ST,.MT](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022062408/56813c64550346895da5efc7/html5/thumbnails/18.jpg)
RESULT• Development planning to
became homestay facilities does not change the original building houses. – conservation of old buildings
• Facilities which developed into a homestay facility (bed rooms, a common room and bathroom) using the room in a renovated old building to achieve the standards of hygiene and comfort for guests.
![Page 19: V. Reni Vitasurya, ST,.MT](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022062408/56813c64550346895da5efc7/html5/thumbnails/19.jpg)
• Addition of the building is not much done. Most are only done on the facade of the building to show the identity of a more comfortable home.
• The use of common space between the host and guest becomes the main attraction, because guests do not feel separate and can interact directly. – conservation of the indigenous local community lifestyle
• Development of building houses adapted to the conditions of each villager, so there is no standard for the extent and quality of raw. Standard set more on a scale of hygiene and health.
• People do extensions and according to their ability
