Check the aerial is the correct model and covers the required channels for the transmitter.

Unpack and check the accessories supplied with the aerial.

Fit the dipole/junction box to the underside of the boom and tighten the plastic wingnut.

Slide the reflector panel over the rear end of the boom and align the fixing holes. Insert the screw and fit the wingnut. Do not over-tighten.

Slide the mast-clamp onto the rear of the boom and loosely fit the U-bolt and wingnuts.

Push the end plugs into each end of the boom to seal it from moisture and avoid wind noises when installed.

Strip the sheath of the coaxial cable by about 15mm to expose the braid screen.

1 x aerial boom with directors 1 x dipole junction box1 x reflector panel2 x end plugs for boom

1 x wingnut and screw for reflector.1 x mast-clamp, U-Bolt and 2 x wingnuts

Gently fold the braid back evenly over the sheath all around the coaxial cable.

Remove the copper tape from the cable to expose the white dielectric.

Strip the white dielectric back to expose about 12mm of the centre copper conductor.

Make sure about 3mm of the white dielectric is still exposed from the braid.

Page 2: V10-13L, V10-12KF AERIAL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS...wind noises when installed. Strip the sheath of the coaxial cable by about 15mm to expose the braid screen. 1 x aerial boom with directors

Slide the grommet from the junction box onto the coaxial cable.

Screw the F connector onto the braid/sheath of the coaxial cable until the exposed white dielectric of the coaxial cable is flush with the inside of the nut of the F connector.

Screw the F-connector onto the connector of the junction box.

Check the polarity of the signal transmissions. If unsure as to the correct polarity, check your neighbour’s aerial. Position the aerial in the mast-clamp and tighten the wingnuts.

Dress the cable as shown in the picture so the cable exits the reflector near the boom and down the mast.
