Kelsey Cox House; 1870 - 373 South RowlettListed in the National Register of Historic Places, this 19th century home, owned by Bill and Cindy Cox, featuring Greek Revival architecture was built in 1870. e home is fronted by a two-storey grand portico supported by two octagonal columns.
Cornelius Tabor House; 1959 - 375 College Street e ranch style home of Je! and Karen Tabor was built in 1959. Originally the Tabor home, it has been completely updated incorporating the old with the
new. e outside ares is an extension of the home with professionally landscaped yard and pool area.
Kelsey Smith House; 1934 - 166 Walnut StrreetBuilt in 1934 by W.W. McGinnis, this bungalow is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Originally built by the Kelsey family, it has recently undergone extensive renovations by the current owners, George and Karen Smith.
Burrows Bomar House; circa 1850 - 110 Hillwood Lane Although the exact date of construction is unknown, historians believe this Greek Revival vernacular cottage is one of the oldest homes in Collierville. Census records indicate this was the home of John Bailey in 1870. Owned by the Burrows family in the early 20th century, many of the original features have been retained by current owners, Neil and Julie Bomar

Mrs. Gay has served as Executive Director of the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans since 1980 and has been a powerful advocate for promoting the preservation of New Orleans’ historic architecture, neighborhoods, economic development and tourism. Mrs. Gay was a volunteer involved in establishing the PRC, which was founded in 1974 as a city wide non-profit preservation organization. Today, its full-time sta! of 50 works with volunteers and neighborhood associations throughout the city, as well as hundreds of national and international volunteers. An important voice at the local, state, and federal levels, Mrs. Gay supports preservation legislation to protect historic resources and promote neighbor-hood revitalization. She has initiated and implemented many programs which have had a major impact on neighborhoods and economic development in New Orleans. Mrs. Gay’s civic involvement mirrors her passion for preservation with service to organizations including the Louisiana Preservation Alliance, Presidential Roundtable on Preservation and Neighborhoods, and the State Tourism Development Commission. She has been published in several books and is frequently quoted in preservation commentary.

is year’s conference theme, “Tracking the Ties at Bind”, refers to Collierville’s history as a 19th century railroad town and to the musical tracks of West Tennessee’s Blues and Rock and Roll heritage. It builds upon the mission of the Tennessee
Preservation Trust and its partner organizations, the Tennessee Historical Commission and the Tennessee Main Street Program.
Our host town, Collierville, and our host organization, Main Street Collierville, have generously assisted with the conference organization and planning. e conference will be held in Downtown Collierville in sites all around the Town Square. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Historic Collierville Depot. A Collierville Historic Tour/Civil War Trails Tour and a Tour of Historic Homes are free with your conference registration. Enjoy sightseeing, unique dining, specialty, and antique shopping in this quaint, historic West Tennessee town.
An exciting gala and auction is planned ursday evening at Historic Heartwood Hall, and the culminating event scheduled is our annual Preservation Luncheon.
