WHEN YOU STRUGGLE, JESUS RECUES! BIBLE STORY: Jesus’ friends try to rescue him in the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:39-54; Matthew 26:36-56)

KEY VERSE: “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

In KidVid Cinema, campers saw that when Hudson struggled in the water, Gunnar jumps in to rescue his little buddy. A cool reminder that Jesus rescues us! -Share with your child(ren) a time when a friend or family member “rescued you” during a time of struggle and how grateful you were for Jesus to find help for you.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Don’t forget to encourage the children to collect donations (including their own) for purchasing 200 pairs of “Shoes that Grow” for children in Africa. We have had amazing stories from the kids who are doing lemon-ade stands, bake sales, and extra chores around the house!!! Their shoe box needs to be back on Friday

• VOLUNTEERS NEEDED on Friday to help with the take down of Shipwrecked Island. Even if you can give only an hour, it will be greatly appreciated!
