ANVER VT Tube Lift Systems are designed for heavy production use. With their continuous duty cycle, unlimited starts and stops per minute are possible, andvacuum attachment to and release of the load is instantaneous.

■ Easy to OperateAll ANVER VT Vacuum Tube LiftSystems use the same basic operating principle: a remotelyconnected vacuum pump produces a vacuum in the liftingtube and control head. As thecontrol head and pad attachmentsare placed on the object to be lifted, the pads seal onto theobject and the vacuum in the lifttube increases, causing the lift tubeto contract, raising the load. As thevacuum (continuously controlledand regulated by the operatorusing the control handle) isdecreased, the lift tube expands,lowering the load. Selecting the Right VT Tube System

■ You select a system with a rated capacity that matches your needs. Whileyou can not use a systemwith a rated load capacityless than your load size,you also should notchoose a system that istoo powerful. A systemthat is too large may not operate smoothly.

■ You choose the right vacuum station.ANVER's HV pumps produce high vacuum and are ideal for heavy,non-porous loads. HF pumps produce highflow making them idealfor porous loads.

■ You choose the right vacuum attachment basedon the type of load.Using the right attachmentwill not only make yoursystem more productive,but safer to operate.

■ You consider the lifting tube diameter. In a vacuum tube lift system,

the vacuum level generatedis constant throughout thesystem. Attachment pads gripthe load at the same vacuumlevel as the vacuum level inthe lifting tube. The pad'srated gripping force must be considerably greater thanthe actual weight of the loadto prevent the load from peeling off and dropping.

ANVER recommends a rated gripping force of atleast twice the load's weight (2 to 1). Since both grippingand lifting operations areaccomplished at the samevacuum level, a rated gripping force twice theweight of the load requiresthe use of properly ratedpads with a seal surface areatwice the lifting tube area.

■ Precise LiftingThe chain hoist providessecure up/down movement. The load can be set in position tohang exactly where set,with no vertical drift.

■ Compact Headroom The VB system's compactdesign requires littleheadroom. The standard lift length varies depending onwhich model is selected.Consult factory for head-room and lift lengthdimensions. Standardload capacities rangefrom 275 to 1,100 lb(125 to 500 kg).

■ Integrated ControlsEasy-to-use, ergonomicallydesigned fully integratedcontrols are mounted on the handle to operatethe vacuum release andhoist movement. A gaugeto indicate vacuum level

is mounted on the controlto allow for monitoringby the operator. Extended handles with soft rubbergrips are available.Handles can be extendedfor wide or high loads as required.
