Competences Needed

JOB POSITION: WIND EXPERT (SITE ASSESMENT) (Code 705)

DEGREE: Mechanical or Production Engineering

LANGUAGES: Portuguese and English

REQUIREMENTS:

• Coordination and evaluation of reports prepared by the engineering team.

• Concepts of Wind Energy

• Site Assessment and analysis of resources for Wind Power Systems

• Knowledge of IEC 61400-1 and IEC 61400-12

• Design of products for Wind Energy and simulation / feasibility of procedures.

• Checking the conditions of wind farms in accordance with IEC 614000-1.

• Analysis and processing of data on Wind Power. Development of procedures and methodologies.

• Study noise of the wind farm and Calculation of energy consumption and output.

JOB POSITION: WIND EXPERT (MECHANICAL/ESTRUCTURE ENGINEER - WTG) (Code 706)

DEGREE: Mechanical or Civil Engineering

• Knowledge of regulations and rules relating to structural design of foundations and certification WTG.

• Evaluation of the mechanical integrity of the foundations of the turbines in

local conditions.

• Knowledge of structural design of concrete.

• Experience in electrical power systems and medium voltage projects.

• Familiarity with software ANATEM and support Due Diligence reports by engineering firm independent.

• Development of materials to support sales and marketing Wind Turbines

• Technical support of sales department in the negotiation of projects new wind farms.

• Activities in support of Product Management, through the evaluation and reporting on the technological

demands of the market

• Interpretation of national and international technical standards and Familiarity with grid codes (Brazil).

• Analyze environmental conditions and mountainous terrain where wind turbines will be installed in order to prove

the viability.

• Preparation of micrositing and optimizing the layout of the wind farm to appropriate model in order to maximize

energy production.

• Knowledge of IEC 61400-1 and in Processing and analysis of the wind farm.

• Calculations of power output. Studies of wind noise caused by the wind farm.

• Experience with the following software for use in specific wind energy (WAsP, WindPro, Windographer and CFD).

• Basic knowledge of software ANATEM.

• Modeling and simulation procedures.

• Responsible for ensuring the process of assembling the components in the nacelles of Wind Turbines.

• Definition of assembly processes using:

– Structure of the product manufacturing

– FMEA - Failure Mode Analysis and its Effects

• Preparation assembly documentation.

• Definition of the tools necessary to ensure the quality, health, ergonomics and safety.

• Knowledge of Catia V5/DMU.

• Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning Product) or similar tools.

• Experience in defining and designing tools and assembly components.
