Club Chronicle WINTER 2015-2016 Thanks for another wonderful summer filled with fun activities. We explored new trails including part of the iconic Colorado Trail up to Kokomo Pass and to beautifully remote Lake Charles, as well as enjoying the scenery of Vail and Beaver Creek Mountains. Road bike rides around the valley and beyond, a trip to Steamboat Springs to explore new trails on foot and roads on two wheels, chef demos, delicious lunches and a well-attended wine and cheese event up at The 10th, lively book club discussions, and a trip to Palisade kept us busy all summer long. Fun was the name of the game for the VMC kids who attended our summer camps full of adventures, even an overnight at Piney Lake. Welcome to our new members from the past season. We are excited to have you experience your first winter with the Club! This winter will feature our second heli ski trip to British Columbia, Canada this time with Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing as well as the 6th annual cat skiing adventure in Steamboat Springs. We will join with other Signature Clubs for ski camps, social ski days in nearby resorts, snowshoe and dining evenings, and other social occasions. Of course, the winter holiday party at The 10th, First and Last Tracks are seasonal highlights not to be missed. This Club Chronicle outlines the season’s featured events. For up- to-date information about all Club activities, please visit our online calendar at www.vailmountainclub.com. We look forward to welcoming you at the Club this winter.
