Cooking lovingly! Cooking meditatively! Cooking for Buddhas! CookingTaoshobuddha way or Buddha way or cooking for Buddhas means the samething. It is indeed a strange yet still a meaningful title for a cook book.
I have taken to cooking and thus bring my awareness to the vast majoritywho are not interested in things at higher rungs. Whether they areinterested in meditation, or discourses they will definitely be interested infood. How to reach these persons was on my mind. This life I have chosen towork at all the planes.
Quite naturally food is cooked with physical ingredients that we use in thecooking. However in addition to these there are many subtle ingredients likethe emotional state of the cook, the state of inner development, awareness,understanding of the mystical essence, and psychology. We do not considersuch things important.
It was recently one of my friends asked me to write create Vaishanava Cook- Book because there are seekers who abstain from onion and garlic andcertain other items.
I thought it essential and appropriate to write a Vaishanava Cook-Bookwherein I can emphasize on the use of ingredients and cooking media. Thereis a lot of ignorance such thing.

The word Taoshobuddha comes from three words, tao, sho, and Buddha. Theword Tao was coined by the Chinese master, Lau Tzu. It means that which is and
cannot be put into words. It is unknown and unknowable. It can only beexperienced and not expressed in words. Its magnanimity cannot be condensedinto finiteness. The word Sho implies, that which is vast like the sky and deep likean ocean and carries within its womb a treasure. It also means one on whom theexistence showers its blessings. And lastly the word Buddha implies the EnlightenedOne; one who has arrived home.
Thus, Taoshobuddha implies one who is existential, on whom the existence showersits blessings and one who has arrived home. The Enlightened One!

Life is a journey of transcendence. It is a moment to moment journey ofawareness. As such man exists at three planes. In ordinary human beingthese planes remain muddled. And because of this there is no clarity andinward journey gets impeded.

In case of an enlightened one the planes remain the same. However theseexist in their right perspective and pristine clarity. Also these do not overlapone another in an enlightened one.
These three planes are:
1. The plane of silence the unheard the uncreated one. This is the planewhere the master or the enlightened one dwells. He prefers to remain there.But from this plane the transformation cannot happen.
2. The second is the plane of intellect. Vast majority are there at thisplane. Or think that from this plane they can understand the deeper aspectsof inwards journey at least intellectually. Again they are mistaken. At thisplane people give their own meaning to the words and message. Still it is aplane from where one can communicate to all those who are at this plane tovarying degrees.
3. And last is the most common plane where you will find vast majority ofhumanity even those who are on the second plane are to certain varyingdegrees remain mixed up with this third plane. This is the plane that relatesto food sheath. Food is necessary for the survival of the body.
We quote the Scriptures Annm! b&hm! Food is consciousness. But do notunderstand the essence of this.

Even the most learned remain ignorant about such things like the nutrition
cooking media and the use of salt.
We earn throughout life and in the absence of understanding of thenutritious values of the ingredients and poor life style continue to suffer andspend large sum of money on treatments.
The sea salt, artificial butters, all-purpose flours, various cooking oils are allhealth hazards.
How can I continue to bring transformation of human consciousness whenbecause of such poor life style and eating habits the physical body continues
to deteriorate? For transformation of human consciousness your total energyhas to be made available.
This particular book serves such purposes. In details I have discussed suchsubjects. Furthermore through Taoshobuddha Food Network forBuddhas I continue to respond to such questions.
In the series of cooking already there are three books available in themarket:
1. Cooking Taoshobuddha Way Vol 1
2. Cooking Taoshobuddha Way Vol 23. Fruits the essence of Life Vigor
These books are already available. In addition there are many articles on thenutrition and such related topics available from various sights.
These efforts need to be consolidated as Taoshobuddha Food Network forBuddhas.
