Brethren, We are already on the 9th month of the Calendar Year for 2017, there were no major Lodge actvites last month, onlythe Golf Tournament Fundraising.
The Advance Staton Ofcers are trying their best to get certfed on all degrees and they only have 2 months lefbefore the Annual Lodge Ofcers electon. We have four Candidates waitng to get Raised, two for a 1st DegreeConferral, and one Pettoner to be voted upon this month. I'm hoping that these Brothers and Fellows have patenceto wait a tme, since Patence is one of our virtue.
For the month of September, I will schedule the Master Mason Award and if everything goes right, it will be on the 2ndor 3rd week. Degree conferral will resume as soon the Advance Ofcers are given the go signal. I have conferred to the2017 Ofcers about proceeding to do the Conferral but sad to say, they don't want to get confused right now. Theirony is, when you are about to be very profcient on your work, it is tme to move on.
Brothers, I thank you for your patence, the road is rugged sometmes but it is always depending on us how we tread.Along the way. lets try to polish the rough thing we have and avoid to scratch others. Masonry anyway, is about ofimproving oneself..

THE SUN IS IN THE WEST
Time goes by so fast when you engageyourself with worthwhile undertakings. Allow me to greet youall a very pleasant day and a wonderful wishes that you areall in good health as always. We are at this time on theverge of a full –fledged summer and we are doing mostoutdoor activities. Let me just remind each one to be carefulin your activities and make summer a season of fun and assafe as it could be.
Last August 19th, we have accomplishedone of our milestones, our Annual Golf Tournament at “BlueRock Springs” golf courses in Vallejo. The event was onceagain quite successful and well participated. I personallyexpect more participants but unfortunately we have fewcancellation at the tournament day. I am pleased to reportthat we have accomplished our goal of generating some fundfor the Lodge and at the same time have a chance to meetand socialize with brethren of other lodges. I would like totake this opportunity to thank all the officers and brethrenwho in one way or another had a hand in making this event asuccess. It was a team effort displayed by the officers andbrethren of Naval Lodge. In addition, I would like toacknowledge the extra effort by the following:A specialthanks to Bro. Billy Lintag and the Northgate Golf Club fortheir continued support and participation. Brother Billy, hasbeen instrumental in ensuring that the event is wellparticipated, likewise to make sure that every players had acoffee and donuts before teeing off.Special thanks go to WB.Guadalupe Thomas, who donated and prepared 55 brownbags snacks for the golfers. Thanks again WB Lupe andSister Anita, your effort and ensuring the golfers have energyto hit that small white ball. Special thanks also goes to Bro.Robert Molera, who takes care the score cards anddetermine the best players of this tournament. Special thanksalso to WB. Barry Hughes, in-charge of the fee’s andregistration. Bro.Joaquin Loayza and Sister Jocelyn,assistance to the registration.
