Under 11
Our u11s have had a busy few weeks they played their
third football league match v Inniscarra and ran out
convincing winners to maintain their unbeaten start in
the Rebel Og League.
They then turned their attention to the small ball and
their first league match was against near neighbours
Sliabh Rua. The lads ran out convincing winners in both
11 aside games in damp conditions in Brinny.
Next up the lads met Ballincollig on an ideal evening for
hurling. The 2 x 11 aside matches were hard fought
games with the Valleys lads ability to get scores proving
decisive. In the end Valleys ran out comfortable
winners. It was very pleasing to see some good score
taking and the tackling, hooking & blocking was much
improved. There are a number of hurling league games
scheduled for the rest of May before we resume our
football league games in June.
We would like to thank the parents for their continued
support at matches and getting the lads to training. As
always we urge the lads to continue to practice their
skills at home.
