Contexts for needs analysis:
Standing international associations and networks
Building on former Leonardo projects
New ideas, taking up new international / European (political) developments
Completely new ideas (possibly taking up national developments)
Valorisation of results of Leonardo da Vinci projects: context for needs analysis
Objectives of the project and of the partners:
One, a few or many objectives
Diversity of project objectives
Different objectives per country
Different objectives of partners
Level to be influenced by objectives
Valorisation of results of Leonardo da Vinci projects: objectives
Objectives of the project, an example:
Production of adequate training module to get students acquainted with Interlaboratory Researches (ILRs)
Determine the currently best possible method of analysis (best performing, best fit, most student friendly, most environmental friendly) for selected casesProduce and compare with each other results with the self-developed analysis and valuate own achievementsConfront students with national, European and international norms and (dis)advantages for their school situation, and have them assess suitabilitySet up an outline for optimising analysis methodsDevelop materials about adequate analysis techniques in conformity with the didactics chosen together
Enable schools to profit from know how of local or international companies of quality assurance and analysis methodsTransfer know how from companies to laboratory schoolsIntensified cooperation and lasting contacts between laboratory schools and (local) companiesCommunicate with partner schools and companies about methods, etc. by an ICT network fit for the purpose

Objectives of the project, continued:
Determine the currently best possible method of analysis (best performing, best fit, most student friendly, most environmental friendly) for selected cases
Create an adequate communication network for teachers and students
Complete a set of fully tested analysis methods in English language that will be useful for laboratory education all over Europe Implement products of the project in laboratory educationContinue ILR based upon the products of project
Improve students’ English language skills

Valorisation of results of Leonardo da Vinci projects: some advices
- formuleer beperkt aantal heldere, afgebakende projectdoelstellingen, eventueel verschillend per land
- realiseer kwalitatief goede projectresultaten !!
