LSC-Kingwood Study

Results:Pre-test/Post-test Study on two classes comparing OpenStax versus traditional book• Class showed significantly higher course

retention and there was a significant increase in student success on SLOs using open source due to 100% access to the textbook and low-cost online learning management system (LMS). Only 60% of students in the control class owned the correct textbook and purchased the LMS.
