ZiZo© is an in-memory "data sandbox" where architects and analystscan work together to collect and shape analytical data with ease,security, and control.  ZiZo breaks all kinds of data down into itsrepeating constituent patterns and stores only those patterns in acompact proprietary store.  The resulting compression is typicallybetween 90% and 97,5% sheer data compression over SQL or XMLtype data and, critically, is completely lossless ensuring the retrievalof all original data from the stored patterns in the most efficientmanner.  ZiZo is simply the fastest and most efficient way to storeanalytics data.

ZiZo© fully supports JDBC, ODBC and SOAP. This simply means thatthe analytical solution of your choice can be based on an entirelyscaleable ZiZo database. The inherent limits in many of theseproducts can therefore be extended to analysing data from billionsof rows, easily and quickly.

How does ZiZo©

do all this?The two key components that make

up the ZiZo platform are the ZiZodatabase, together with Pathway, an

entirely graphical programminglanguage.

ZiZo© is an in-memory patterndatabase of a particularly unique

structure. The key to the structure isthat the system itself recognises and

stores only the patterns it finds in eachrow of data. And that it only stores

each pattern once. This means that allredundancy is stripped from the dataand that access to the pattern space,

in memory, is extraordinarily fast. Formost data sets the “compression” is 30

to 1 or greater and ZiZo has oftenachieved a 98% saving on disk space.

ZiZo also does not have toreconstitute the data for queryingsince all queries are directly to the

pattern space.

PathwayTM is a visual scriptingenvironment for integrating,

transforming and synthesizing datafor analytics.  Pathway is also 100%computationally complete which

means that anything that cantheoretically be computed in any

programming language, can also bedone in Pathway.

Apart from speed of development,the greatest contrast to, say SQL, is

that queries do not have to beclosely defined and agreed before

they are written. The data isstreamed “through” the developing

graphical query so that theuser/developer can see the data as it

is resolved by the query as it isconstructed.
