This is one of the best summer street festivals in San Francisco. Spanning along Fillmore Street from Japantown to Pacific Heights, local food vendors, artists, and craftsmen line the street, while live jazz music performances go on all day on the various performance stages.

PIZZERIA DELFINA

An off-shoot of the original in Mission Dolores, Pizzeria Delfina brings their flavor of classic wood fired Italian pies to the Northwest side of town. If you like a taste of the Mediterranean, the cheeseless Neapolitana with tomatoes, anchovies, capers, hot peppers, olives, and oregano, is amazing. Don’t miss the meatballs and house-made gelato.

LYON STREET STEPS

Starting at the corner of Lyon Street and Broadway, the Lyon Street Steps are a beautifully manicured set of steep stairs that span an entire block. Locals love to come here and run or walk the stairs as they enjoy the views.

ALTA PLAZA PARK

Alta Plaza is a gorgeous park atop Pacific Heights with amazing views of San Francisco. Great spot to bring some lunch over from one of the many cafes or markets on Fillmore Street, and soak up the sun and city vistas.
