VB3 CRUMAR EDITION II - ENGLISH The software included in the package you just downloaded from www.crumar.it web site is VB3 Crumar Edition II. This software is an update for Crumar Mojo and Hamichord (second edition) instruments produced by VM Connection of Quarto d'Altino (VE) Italy. All other use of this software is forbidden and violates the international copyright laws. The attempt to install or use the software on instruments, computers or machines other than those provided by CRUMAR is not possible and will immediately be blocked. Installation procedure for Hamichord MC-3 EXP-Edition: Once downloaded this installation package, copy the file called “VB3CE2_Install.exe” on a USB removable device (Pen Drive) and connect it to a free USB port of your Hamichord (to gain access to the USB ports, remove the cover for motherboard connections on the back of the instrument). Before turning the instrument on, please connect a monitor and a mouse. Startup the instrument. From within the Windows XP Embedded interface, click “Start → My computer” and open drive D:\, locate the file called “VB3CE2_Install.exe” and double click on it to start the installation procedure; in case of confimation pop-up messages, confirm them by clicking INSTALL. Should the instrument become mute after the installation, please select the proper MIDI and AUDIO (ASIO) ports from the Settings menu and press STORE . After the installation procedure has finished, we suggest to re-boot the instrument. Il software incluso nel pacchetto che avete appena scaricato dal sito www.crumar.it è VB3 Crumar Edition II; questo software è da intendersi come aggiornamento degli strumenti Crumar Mojo e Hamichord (seconda edizione) prodotti dalla VM Connection di Quarto d'Altino (VE). Ogni altro utilizzo è escluso e viola le leggi internazionali sul copyright. Il tentativo di installazione e utilizzo del software su altri apparecchi, elaboratori elettronici, hardware diverso da quello originale fornito da CRUMAR non è possibile e viene automaticamente bloccato.

Procedura di installazione su Hamichord MC-3 EXP-Edition:

Una volta scaricato il presente pacchetto di istallazione, trasferire il file presente all’interno chiamato “VB3CE2_Install.exe” in un supporto rimovibile USB (ad es. una comune pen-drive) e inserirlo in una porta USB libera su Hamichord (le porte USB sono accessibili rimuovendo il pannellino posteriore dello strumento per accedere alle connessioni della motherboard); prima di accedere lo strumento per effettuare l’aggiornamento, collegare ad esso monitor e mouse.Accedere lo strumento. Tramite l’interfaccia grafica di Windows XP Embedded, andare su “Start → My Computer” e entrare nel drive D:\, cercare il file “VB3CE2_Install.exe” ed eseguirlo facendo doppio click su di esso. La procedura di istallazione del nuovo VB3 Crumar Edition II avrà inizio; nel caso in cui nello schermo appaiano schermate di conferma, cliccare su INSTALL per confermare. Qualora lo strumento non dovesse emettere alcun suono dopo l'installazione, sarà necessario selezionare le porte MIDI e AUDIO (ASIO) dal menu Settings e poi premere il tasto STORE. Una volta terminata la procedura, si consiglia il riavvio dello strumento.

Procedura di installazione/update su MOJO:

Se la versione firmware del Mojo è inferiore alla 2.1, seguire le stesse istruzioni per Hamichord qui sopra esposte, altrimenti aggiornare prima il firmware alla versione 2.1 (o superiore, qualora già disponibile) e procedere come segue:

non c'è bisogno di collegare un mouse e un monitor! rimuovere il pannello posteriore per accedere alle connessioni della motherboard inserire la chiave USB sulla quale è stato precedentemente copiato il file VB3CE_Install.exe premere il tasto SHIFT per entrare in modo Edit tenere premuto per almeno 3 secondi il tasto PEDALS TO LOWER e attendere il riavvio del pannello comandi rimuovere la chiave USB

NOTE:

Come riconoscere la versione firmware attualmente installata sul Mojo: fare attenzione ai 14 LED relativi ai preset al momento dell'accensione, due LED si accenderanno per un secondo prima che si accenda il pannello. Il LED della fila di sinistra indica il numero intero della versione (per esempio 1.x) e quello della fila di sinistra indica il decimale (*.2). Quindi, per esempio, se la versione è 1.2 vedrete accendersi i LED Upper 1 e Lower 2.

Come chiamare la funzione Panic!/Update del Mojo: premere il tasto SHIFT per entrare in modo Edit, poi tenere premuto per qualche secondo il tasto PEDALS TO LOWER finché il pannello non si riavvia.
