Cookies always appreciated. One guest reminisced about
his mother’s cookies and being allowed to lick the bowl
after she finished baking. If anyone needs community ser-

We’ll drive you to the site at Spirit of Hope Church and
bring you home. Permission slips are needed for those
under 18 years; check with the Pastor to get one. Bob Cue
or Anne Lyke can tell you about the activity if you are curious.
Second Mile Center: on Monday July 18 volunteers will meet at
FPCSL at 2:45pm to carpool to Second Mile Center to help with the
Health Fair. The shift is 4:00pm to 8:00pm, returning to FPCSL at
9:00pm. A sign-up sheet is on the Friendship Table.
Greetings from the deacons! We were happy to see our new deacons come aboard at our June meeting. Heather Mueller, Nancy Geiger and Jeanette Asiala received their church member assignments as did the current deacons. Sometime in the near future we will
have a meet and greet session so deacons and their members can get to know each other. Hope all is well with everyone and enjoy this great summer weather.
Deacon, Jack Rae
