One day Faculty Development Program on Lean Manufacturing was successfully conducted by Roots Industries India Limited, Coimbatore on 2nd November 2019, in association with Industry Institute Partnership Cell, KPRIET, Coimbatore. The FDP program received an overwhelming response with overall 29 participants from various departments of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.
The Program was inaugurated by Mr.Raghuram, General Manager, Roots Industries India Limited, Coimbatore. Followed by the inauguration the expert lecture was delivered by him, on the topics of Industry requirement, non value added activity, types of wastes, quality, value stream mapping and electronic horns. Followed by the lecture we had an industry visit and activity based on assembling of horns.
