実施⽅法 1 と同様に、4 問から 1 問選択して解答してもらいます。試験問題は試験開始時にインターネットを介して配布します。解答はWord 等で作成し、試験終了時間までにインターネットを介して提出して頂きます。

志望動機、意欲、基礎知識等について問う 15

分程度の個別⾯接を⾏います。専⾨科⽬の解答にもとづく試問も含みます。インターネット会議ツールを利⽤して⾏います。試験の 1〜2 週間前に接続テストの機会を⼀度設けます。

Use the questions created by the Department of International Studies, not the TOEFL-ITP (TOEFL or the TOEIC score sheet is not accepted.) We will evaluate your reading, writing, and speaking abilities.

o Specialized subject Same as Plan 1, select one out of four questions and answer it. Exam questions will be distributed online at the beginning of the exam. Answers must be prepared with a word processor software such as Word and submitted online by the end of the specified examination time above.

o Oral examination A 15-minute individual interview will be held to ask about purposes, motivation, academic background, and other things. We will also ask questions based on applicants’ answers to the specialized subject exam. The oral examination is conducted using a Web conferencing tool. We will provide you with an opportunity to test the connection 1~2 weeks before the exam.

However, the examination venue will be the Kashiwa Campus or online. If it is conducted online, we will use a Web conferencing tool. English is evaluated using the TOEFL score (including the TOEFL iBT® Special Home Edition). The TOEFL score sheet requirements are as stated in the Application Guidelines. Only the Test Date score of the TOEFL-iBT test is used as the application score, and the My Best score is not used. ※Notes • On the occasion of the online oral examination, Web

conferencing tools (Zoom, Skype, etc.) will be used. Thus, a high-speed internet connection and a device equipped with a camera (such as a computer, tablet PC, smartphone, etc.) are required. The type of device and OS do not matter, but if the OS or software update starts during the interview, it may interfere with the communication. To avoid such issues, it is recommended that you update your OS and software to the latest version.
