Technology Tracks Overview


What is a Technology Track? A pre-defined package service to enable integration and/or certification with specific Veritas products.

What are the requirements to participate? Partner completes an application form which is reviewed by engineering product teams. If the company’s proposed solution fits with the Veritas strategy, goals, and is not a competing solution, the partner signs a technology track agreement.

What are the fees to join a technology track? Fees are $10,000 per product to perform testing and certification. Exception: Cloud Solution Technology Track, which includes NBU Cloud, Backup Exec Cloud, and CloudPoint and priced at $15,000. All technology track partners must first be a VTE program member. Annual program membership fee is $4,000.

• Included in this certification is Veritas CloudPoint.

• NBU XBSA Enables an application to create, query, retrieve and delete data objects using NetBackup for backup or archiving purposes.

• The interface extends the XBSA specification using rules and policies defined by NetBackup for ease of use and enhanced performance.
