Utopia• A perfect society.• The word came from the

Greek language.• Examples: Aurora Colony,

every one was Christian.

Dystopia• The complete opposite of a Utopia.• A society with oppression and

totalitarian, everything would be bad and miserable.• Example: Soviet union or Nazi

Regimen

The Characteristics of a Utopia:

• Basic rules & law.• Family guidelines.• Marriage Guidelines.• Education.• Careers.• Religious Beliefs.• Medical Guidelines.• Government Guidelines.

About Our Utopia• Our Utopia is much like a perfect

society and would be a great place to live.• The name of our utopia is Veriton.• It has all the qualities of a utopian

society.

GOVERNMENT• It would be a federal democracy.• The president will stay in office two

years.• People would have first amendment,

second amendment, & basic freedoms.• You can vote for president.

Education•Have to go to school for

twelve years to learn the basics.• You can go to college.• You choose what you want

to major in at college.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• No criminal activity or you will go to jail.• All people are to be respected,

even teenagers and children.• No drugs or alcohol for

recreational uses.

Marriage Guidelines

• You may choose your own partner.• You can divorce this partner if

you have good cause & you attend marriage counseling.• You can not cheat on your

partner.

Family Guidelines • You can only have 4 children.• You will not have broken any rules if

you have twins, triplets, etc. & exceed limit. • You do not have to have children.• You can have your own children,

unless you might pass down a disease.

Careers• Everybody will have a job.• You do not have to have a job

if you are retired or too young. • People will get paid different

amounts for different work.

Medical Guidelines

• Hospitals, doctors, & nurses will be provided.• Everybody will be provided free

medical care.• People will be provided over

the counter medications.

Conclusion• In conclusion, a utopia is a

perfect great place to live.• A dystopia is the opposite of it.• Our Utopia would be free and

maintain small rules that are to be followed, so it will still be pretty free.
