PROGRAMME BASED ON ACCOMMODATION IN VERONA

DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN VERONA, TRANSFER TO HOTEL.

LATE AFTERNOON DEPART WITH A LOCAL GUIDE FOR A WALKING ORIENTATION OF THE TOWN.

VERONA, THE TOWN OF LOVE AND OPERA

The visit will be a pleasant strolling with time for admiring the highlight of the town:

Piazza Bra, which is the square where the Arena is located, would not be so well

known were it not for its celebrated Listone, thewide footpath which follows the

curving line of the buildings around the square. This is perhaps the favourite meeting-

place of theVeronese people, where they most frequently come together to talk or

to take a stroll. Along it are famous cafes, excellentrestaurants and elegant shops. The

red-walled Scaligeri castle, majestic yet not without a hint of frivolity, was built

between 1354 and 1356 at the orders ofCangrande II della Scala to serve the dual

purpose of residential place and stronghold.

Only a few paces from Piazza Erbe is Giulietta's home, at number 27, Via Cappello,

once owned by the Dal Cappello, or Capulet, family. Again according to the legend,

this was the house where the beautiful Juliet the most famous of all

Shakespeare'sheroines, lived. It probably dates back to the 13th century, and has a

brick facade with large trilobate windows.

In a splendid 14th-century dwelling in Via delle Arche Scaligere there is Romeo's

home. The building, which is unfortunately in a poor state of preservation, is one of

the oldest in Verona. The facade is brick and still has remains of the original

battlements.

Verona is also a very refined province with the elegant boutiques so a bit of free time

for shopping is also foreseen.

At the end lunch in a typical and refined centrally located restaurant.

Typical trattoria, facing Arena, with a lovely music

entertainment during dinner by tenor or soprano.

Here you will find style, atmosphere and culture

which have made Veneto and particularly Verona

an unforgettable place, loved by the most

important artists of any time; but above all you will

meet warmth and friendliness of our region people.

We simply offer with refinement and fancy the

typical recipes of our region and our tradition. And

we do it with all our hearts, passion and

professionalism.

Our wine-list is for our restaurant a source of pride.

Garda Lake: relax in the natural beauty.

Garda, the largest Italian lake lying at the foot of the Alps. A rich vegetation flourishes thanks to the Mediterranean climate:

lemontrees, oleanders, magnolias and bougainvilleas but also good wines and olive oil (worldwide famous Amarone, Soave,

Bardolino, and Valpolicella). Cruising with stops in the lovely towns around like Sirmione, (the picturesque town and castle built on a

narrowpeninsula where the ruins of a Roman Villa owned by the ancient Poet Catullo are hosted), Salò, where Mussolini found his

lastrefuge, Gardone, classy resorts of the Belle Époque, Bardolino, quaint fishing village.

Sirmione

Sirmione is simple and complex, young and old, full of life and movement but also silent and contemplative, the Eldorado of

watersports and a dreamy village in the twilight. Contrasts. Sirmione is like a fan with many slats, but it remains unique in its essence.

Thedetails have faded away in the wake of time, but the Roman poet's spirit still lives in Catullus' Villa and Catullus' Grotte, the originalpurpose of which is a secret of lake Garda. The eventful history of the Penisula has had many heights and lows, but Sirmione

hasnever lost its magic. The Romans had built two castles, two harbours, a settlement and the gigantic villa that rises on rocks

andpowerfully towers on the lake. On the foundations of the old eastern harbour, the Scaligers later built their famous fortress: a

charming, graceful yet strong and imposing bulwark, one of the most beautiful buildings in the world.

LAKE GARDA CRUISE

The cruise can be made using different boats: motorboat, vintage sailing boat( up to 50 pax) and sailing (4/6 max each boat).

Departure for an half day cruise along the lake reaching a couple of towns as Sirmione, (the picturesque ancient small town

andcastle built on a narrow peninsula where the ruins of a Roman Villa owned by the ancient Poet Catullo are hosted), Gardone,

or Bardolino and so on…

OPTIONAL - EXCLUSIVE VISIT OF A PRIVATE ISLAND HOSTED BY A PRINCESS- something special (Optional)

Isola del Garda is a place of rare and special beauty...a precious jewel surrounded

by the clear waters of the lake. The island hasgot ancient origins, it was infact

inhabited in early roman times, nowadays belongs to the Borghese Cavazza Family

who lives onthe Island all year round and continues to look after the gardens and the

Villa lovingly. The Island also offers wonderful naturalbeauties: amazing gardens

whose planning dates back to 1880 (the front garden of the Villa, created in the first

1900, are made inclassical Italian style), artificial caves, a natural park whose

charming part is the wildest one, an ancient port build in 1830 and alittle building in the park called “the fairy house”…finally worthwhile to be visited.

Mrs. Alberta Cavazza will be glad to welcome guests into her Villa.

Guest will enjoy the guided tour of the estate which lasts approx. 1h30mns or 2 hours.

At the end of the visit a light refreshment will be offered with tasting of local wines

and olive oil including also selection of localcheeses and “bruschetta” (toasted

bread with olive oil).

PATRICIAN VILLA A Patrician palace of XIII century, located in the very heart of Verona, 5 minutes walking from the Arena.

Today the residence of the family Conti Bevilacqua, its name comes from the name of the first family who lived here.

The extraordinary frescoes that enrich the various halls of the elegant place took part all the most famous painters of that period, among whom the Bibiena. The main room is a triumph of tromp d’oeil, and is really difficult to believe the roof is flat, full of so many columns, people, animals, painted in a perfect perspective view. A real masterpiece.

All around the various small rooms with ancient furniture create a unique setting for a special reception.

Outside the garden – 10000 square meters - has the typical renaissance double stairs leading to green paradise that in May explodes in a stunning mixture of colours and perfumes.
