High temperature coupling for flaw inspection and thickness gaging. Ambient and low temperature coupling where corrosion inhibition is critical. Instantaneous ultrasonic response (does not contain plastic powders which delay ultrasonic coupling). Excellent corrosion inhibitor. Provides non-toxic, superior, long-term corrosion inhibition for steel and cast iron and is compatible with other metals and most plastics. VersaSonic may be left in place unless it will interfere with subsequent manufacturing oper- ations such as painting or electroplating. Low smoke and odor at elevated temperatures. No plastic powder char remaining after inspection. Low environmental impact. Contains no perfluoro- carbons, silicones, peanut or tree nut oils. Available in three viscosities: HV: High viscosity - remains in place MV: Medium viscosity - spreadable, can be brushed VLV: Very low viscosity - can be pumped or squirted from bottles. 2-oz (US)/60 ml tubes 1-quart (US)/0.946 liter 1-gallon (US)/3.785 liter 5-gallon (US)/18.9 liter HV: High viscosity: 80.54 Pa.s. VersaSonic successfully performs in excess of 900°F (482°C) and below -10°F (-23°C) in many

open environment applicationsPRODUCT DESCRIPTION PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS Plant based, low toxicity, biodegradable couplant in three viscosities with a broad high to low operating range.

VersaSonic may be left in place unless it will interfere with subsequent manufacturing oper-ations such as painting or electroplating.

Low smoke and odor at elevated temperatures. No plastic powder char remaining after inspection.Low environmental impact. Contains no perfluoro-carbons, silicones, peanut or tree nut oils.Available in three viscosities: HV: High viscosity - remains in place

MV: Medium viscosity - spreadable, can be brushed VLV: Very low viscosity - can be pumped or squirted from bottles.

Auto Ignition range(1) under closed conditions with sustained temperature (ASTM E-659): 782°F to 840°F (417°C to 449°C)

Operating Range: VersaSonic successfully performs in excess of 900°F (482°C). Typical UT flaw and thickness applications use thin couplant films in an open environment where the small amount of gas formed can dissipate quickly. However, if fire (auto ignition) is of concern, VersaSonic should not be used above the auto ignition temperature and instead EchoTherm or EchoTherm Extreme should be used.
