As a veteran, you may be eligible for veterans preference regarding open, outside, competitive positions that are scored and ranked.

Our policy prohibits discrimination or unfair treatment toward any veterans, including Vietnam Era and disabled veterans.

Supervisors or employers cannot discriminate against people in the armed forces, active or reservists.

Employers making blanket statements that all Vietnam Veterans were drug users or crazy.

Employers denying a veteran employment, training, or other work related projects because of past, present or future military obligations.

Employers denying employment based on reservist/national guard duty.
