Care & Cleaning• Beforeyouliftorrepositionyourmonitor,itisbettertodisconnectthe

cablesandpowercord.Followthecorrectliftingtechniqueswhenpositioningthemonitor.Whenliftingorcarryingthemonitor,grasptheedgesofthemonitor.Donotliftthedisplaybythestandorthecord.

• Cleaning.Turnyourmonitoroffandunplugthepowercord.Cleanthemonitorsurfacewithalint-free,non-abrasivecloth.Stubbornstainsmayberemovedwithaclothdampenedwithmildcleaner.

• Avoidusingacleanercontainingalcoholoracetone.UseacleanerintendedforusewiththeLCD.Neverspraycleanerdirectlyonthescreen,asitmaydripinsidethemonitorandcauseanelectricshock.

The following symptoms are normal with the monitor:• Thescreenmayflickerduringtheinitialuseduetothenatureofthe

fluorescentlight.TurnoffthePowerSwitchandturnitonagaintomakesurethattheflickerdisappears.

• Youmayfindslightlyunevenbrightnessonthescreendependingonthedesktoppatternyouuse.

• Whenthesameimageisdisplayedforhours,anafterimageofthepreviousscreenmayremainafterswitchingtheimage.ThescreenwillrecoverslowlyoryoucanturnoffthePowerSwitchforhours.

• Whenthescreenbecomesblackorflashes,orcannotworkanymore,contactyourdealerorservicecentertofixit.Donotrepairthescreenbyyourself!

1. Attachthebasetothearm.

2. Fixwiththescrewstojointthebasewiththearm.Youcaneasilytightenthescrewsbyfingers.

3. Removetheheightadjustmentlockfromthearm.

2.3 Detaching the arm (for VESA wall mount)

ThedetachablearmofthismonitorisspeciallydesignedforVESAwallmount.

To detach the arm:

1. Disconnectpowerandsignalcables.

2. Lowerthemonitortoitslowestheight,andtheninserttheheightadjustmentlock.

3. Carefullyputthefrontofthemonitorfacedownonaflatandcleantable.

4. Useascrewdrivertoremovethefourscrewdriversonthearm,andthendetachthearmfromthemonitor.

• Werecommendthatyoucoverthetablesurfacewithsoftclothtopreventdamagetothemonitor.

• Holdthestandwhileremovingthescrews.

• TheVESAwallmountkit(100x100mm)ispurchasedseparately.
