The design and detailing of your bathroom is something that can bring you pleasure every day. It is not a place for compromise. KOHLER offers an inspiring breadth and depth of faucetry for lavatories, bath and shower applications. Along with an array of styles and finish options, Kohler allows homeowners to complete their bathrooms with confidence.

Proven Performance:

Performance and reliability are demanded of faucets. Kohler ensures that we meet our customers’ expectations by testing beyond industry standards and ensuring that the valves are going to last the lifetime of the faucet.

- Kohler exceeds industry standards for valving.

- Ceramic disc cartridges are used in single and two-handle faucets.

- The code requires valves to function through 500,000 on/off cycles, whereas KOHLER Standard requires Valves to function through a minimum of 1,000,000 on/off cycles. Cycle tests equate to approximately 50 years for lavatory faucets and 22 years for kitchen faucets.

- Ceramic discs are fired nearly diamond-hard making them resistant to hard water and debris.

- Discs move against each other, grinding any debris so that it can flow out of the faucet.

- Movement of the discs has a polishing effect and over time creates smooth and consistent handle operation.

Finish with Confidence:

- Kohler tests against Salt Spray and Salt Fog Atmosphere standards.

- Kohler finishes must exceed 48 hours – 2 times longer than code requirements.

- Submerged or water exposed parts are tested to a longer time standard of 96 hours (Includes lavatory and bath drains, shower components, tub trims, etc.).

- Kohler finishes are tested against the top 29 chemicals found in popular cleaners.

The new Vibrant faucet collection offers a choice of exquisite fi nishes with enhanced surface properties. Vibrant fi nishes are produced using state-of-the-art Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) technology to give you three new elegant fi nishes, that too with an astonishing 12 year warranty.

The Technology: Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)- Physical Vapor deposition (PVD) is fundamentally

a vaporization coating technique, involving transfer of material at an atomic level.

- During this process, vaporized chemicals condense on the substrate, forming a thin film resulting in a colored finish.

- The color of these finishes is obtained from the chemistry of materials that is deposited on the substrate.

- PVD is a modern technology used to produce surfaces that offer enduring finishes with enhanced resistance to abrasion and corrosion.

The Process:Kohler uses Cathodic Arc PVD process to create Vibrant finishes. This process is carried out under vacuum conditions in four steps:- Evaporation- Transportation- Reaction- Deposition

The PVD advantage:The main use of this technology is to create a realistic metal color that is of a high quality. It helps build surfaces with improved hardness and wear-resistance, making them anti-corrosive, anti-tarnish and scratch-resistant.And hence, we offer you a 12 years warranty on each and every product from the Vibrant collection.
