ExoAirExoAir has a processor based control system for optimal regulation of heating pump and supplementary heatiing, which minimizes the energy consumption. Energy is only added when, e.g. the hot water temperatur need to be increased due to extra large consumption. AIR/WATER HEAT PUMP

EXOAIR - TECHNICAL DESCRIPTIONExoAir has an extra large vaporizer of epoxy treat-ed aluminium with copper tube, low r.p.m. special fan, 2 speed. Termo sta tic expansion valve, service connection, pressure switches, starting equipment and motor protection.

EXOTROL – CONTROL UNIT FOR EXOAIR AND EXOTANKThe ExoTrol unit is mounted close to the ExoTank and connected to the electrical control box by 3x400 V, N and earth 20 A, 4 mm2. The included cables with multipole pin connectors are connec-ted to ExoAir and ExoTank. The elctrical installa-tion is simple, fast and safe as the cable connec-tors fit the corresponding contacts on ExoAir and ExoTank and can not be mixed up.

ExoTrol contains:• Connections and motor protection for heating cartridge and compressor • Automatic fuses 3x10 A• Circuit board with processor• Display panel with push buttons• Switch for heating cartridge

ExoTrol controls:• Compressor• Circulation pump, cold side• Circulation pump, warm side• 2 pcs. of heating cartridges• Shunt valve

Temperature sensor for:• Inside temperature• Outside temperature• Inlet temperature• Water temperature • Hot gas sensor, i.e. total 6 temp. sensors• Settings are made by push buttons and display to minimize the energy consumption while main- taining the heat comfort.

The display:• Times, current values, desired values, and operational information• The alarm shows reason and remedy • The room sensor has a LED that flashes at alarm. The display shows the alarm fault• With the help of two switches the heating cart- ridges can be manually operated. Even the shunt valve can be set manually.

SOLO - THE SIMPLIER CONTROL UNITExoAir can also be operated with an accumulator by a simplier control system - SOLO.The circuit board is mounted in the heat pump’s connection box and has as reference a set return temperature to the heating pump. This system has fewer installation possibilities.

ExoAir is an air/water heat pump for private houses and small premises. Cooling agent R407C. The heat pump is delivered in a com-plete unit that only needs external connections for water and electricity.The unit fulfils current regulations for cooling equipment, electrical installations, pressure vessels and CE-marking.

DELIVERY CONTENTExoAir is equipped with a stong frame of stainless steel. Well insulted and sound dam-ping panels of stainless steel. Hermetic scroll compressor, con den sor/soldered flat heat exchanger of stainless acidproof steel, unique design with double thermal length.

The tank is also equipped with a BIV shunt valve which primarily takes system water and successively, when needed, mixes in the heated water. The VPS-AIR tank is equipped with two heating cartrid-ges with 9 or 12 kW effect. ExoTrol measures in the cart-ridge effect needed in each operational situation. ExoTrol which is connected together with ExoAir controls even other parts such as compressor, fan, circulation pump, heating cartridges and the BIV shunt valve.

THE HOT WATER IS LEGIONELLA ENSURED The ExoTank VPS warms the tap water in the double heating exchanger of homogen copper (see system schematic). This means that there is never a large stag-nent volume of tap water in changeable temperatures where legionella bacteria can thrive.

Exotank VPS warms the tap water directly as it flows through, which is the best guarantee that you always get a fresh and bacteria free water to the shower and other points. ExoAir heat pump has longer operational periods when it is connec-ted to ExoTank VPS. Longer operational periods and fewer starts and stops give a longer life time. A unique advantage is that the VPS tank can be connected and operated with other external heat sources, such as wood boiler, pellets boiler, oil boiler or solar collectors. The processor based control system Exotrol is delivered complete with wiring. A 3 m length for the tank and a 15 m length to the heating pump. They are also provided with mul-tipin connections for quick and safe mounting.

EXOTROL – CONTROL UNIT FOR EXOAIR AND EXOTANKThe ExoTrol unit is mounted close to the ExoTank and connected to the electrical control box by 3x400 V, N and earth 20 A, 4 mm2. The included cables with multipole pin connectors are connec-ted to ExoAir and ExoTank.
