Using Your Video Camera

Connecting Your Battery

• Slide battery down onto back of camera.

Inserting Tape

• Press eject button and open cassette compartment. • Insert tape upside down and close cassette

compartment.

Turn Camera On

• Turn power switch to camera to begin recording.• Turn power switch to VCR to watch movie.

Recording

• Turn power switch to camera. • Press the red button to start and stop recording.

Zooming

• Use the switch marked TW to zoom in and out.

Keeping Your Camera Stable

Import

• If using a video camera, you will need a firewire cable and card.

• If using a still camera, you will need a usb cable or place the SD Card in your computer.

Movie Maker Steps

• Import your media• Build a storyboard and edit clips • Add effects, transitions, titles /

credits / subtitles• Add audio• Create and save the movie

Share

• Email to others• Place back on tape• Post to Google Video or Teacher

Tube • Save on your computer for viewing
