Video Phone(IPVP) Order Entry

IPVP Service is initially available in Islamabad, Lahore

and Karachi

IPVP service will be configured as Broadband Value added

service in BnCC Following two VAS will be configured in BNCC

IPVP with One Time Charge

IPVP with Installments

Order Entry in BNCC

Rights will be assigned for the order entry to restricted IDsonly

Already existing PSTN and Broadband)

Existing PSTN and BB customers can apply for the IPVP

service

It is recommended not to book IPVP order with new Broadband

connection since it will require manual change at

provisioning step. It will not move through switch

construction in such case

IPVP is offered with below data rates

SWITCH CONSTRUCTION / C5 NGN CONSTRUCTION

order will be routed to Switch Construction Step for

the service activation at C5 NGN(Existing interfaces of SwitchConstruction can be used for the IPVP BB VAS construction)

System will display the BB VAS order details i.e.

service required, assigned number and Password for the

required construction at C5 switch

Concerned staff will be responsible to process the work

orders manually from this step once all the required

actions have been performed by them manually

External Construction Once the order is confirmed at C5 order will be routed to

External Construction step CPE will be configured and delivered at the customers

premises(Same BB work step of External Construction can be utilized for this service)

System will display the service name at this step so that

lineman can identify and perform the required actions

accordingly

At external construction Result return interface, following

fields will be given to enter the CPE information

IPVP Set Serial Number

IPVP Set Make

IPVP Set Model

This information can be captured and saved in the system. Once

the CPE information is saved then it can be displayed in the

reports

Switch Construction

order will be routed to Switch Construction Step for the

service deactivation at C5 NGN (Existing interfaces of Switch Construction

can be used for the IPVP BB VAS construction)

External Construction

Once the order is confirmed from the order will be routed toExternal Construction step

Line man will visit the customers premises for the

deconstruction of IPVP service and recovery of IPVP set.

Add Other Charge service can be utilized to charge the customer

for any pending charges related to IPVP set

Archive The order will be archived and all the related systems will be

updated

Initializing Video Phone Connect the Video phone to the power cable and power up the video

Connect it to the broadband modem through network cable It takes about 2 minutes to boot up the videophone. During this

period, please do not touch any keys or turn off the videophone

Configuration of Video phone Once the device is initialized the following screen will be

displayed

Screen/Menu can be either scrolled through any of the

To configuration the phone, select SETTING OPTION from the

home screen

After selecting the SETTING OPTION the following screen will

be displayed

Step 1 : Select setting option

Step 2 :Select WAN option Select WAN option and enter password admin when prompted

Click the Green button once the password is fed

Default password : admin * password is case sensitive

Step 3: Selection of DHCP Select the DHCP option at the WAN Screen

Scroll back to settings home screen and select Settingsoption

You will again be prompted for password

Enter admin as password

Select any one of the account below tab and you will have thescreen followed in the next slide

Step 5:Final ConfigurationNow enter IP Video Phone number in following three fields

Display Name

Register Name User Name

Enter Password that you will receive from NGN team. This

Password is unique and should be protected

Punch in the Sever IP address, these IP addresses vary for

Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi

Enter Post numbers and select save option
