Enter the date range - Default date range is 1 month – Click Find Sightings 7. All the sightings for the specified date range are returned – Click Select to view an individual sighting 8. The vehicle image and license plate for the selected sighting is displayed a) Check that the license plate is correct as cameras do occasionally mis-read a license plate or license plates are tampered with b) Check that the vehicle is the one you are looking for – there are many vehicles with duplicated / cloned license plates 9. The location of the sighting is pinpointed on the map. You can drill down to street level on the map, to see exactly where the sighting occurred LAST 10 SIGHTINGS 10. The most recent 10 sightings, as far back as 2016, are retrieved a) The 10 sightings are plotted onto the map allowing you to view the route a vehicle took or its general location b) Click a map pin and the vehicle image / details will be displayed c) The normal Select function can also be used to view details 12. Scroll down into the map using the +- buttons highlighted PLOT SIGHTINGS Note - This function is basically a combination of Sightings Search and Last 10 Sightings. All the sightings for a specified date range are plotted onto a single map. The Select button can be clicked to view sighting details as well as the individual map pins. CLONE SEARCH There are thousands of vehicles on our roads with cloned / duplicated license plates. These are used for criminal activity or simply to avoid licensing fees. 13. Enter the date range relevant to your search – remember to expand your date range to include a couple of years if at first you get no results. 15.
