Leader doesn’t watch other players and

starts to say things like:

”Who has red in his or her clothes can

come three steps forward.”

Leader says always a new colour and

he/she can decide what kind of steps

others can take.

Steps can be called:

Chicken steps

Bear steps

Jumps

Giant steps

Player who reaches the leader first, will

be the new leader.

What you need?

a playing area

a ball, for example a tennisball

a bat (you can also use a wooden board, or a

tennis racket or… feel free to improvise OR

if you don´t have any, you can throw the ball)

two teams of players

(baseball mitts, or caps or just your hands to

catch the ball)

The player has three changes to hit the ball

If he hits the ball, he can run to the first base, then to the second and so on

If he doesn´t hit the ball, he goes to the waiting area and can run if and when the next player hits the ball

Team B is catching the

ball and throwing it to

the pitcher as fast as they

can

When the pitcher catchs

the ball, all the players

that are not at bases are

burnt and they have to

come home

If the player reaches the

fourth base the team gets

a run

the game goes on until

there are three players

burnt (or more if agreed)

Then the teams change

places
